Forums - General Discussion - My sibling got into Princeton

I like to keep my personal life as far as possible from the internet and prefer to keep it about gaming strictly, but I couldn't contain myself with this. I've been telling everyone about this.

My younger sibling got into a Princeton among several other schools and it was decided that it would be the destination of attendance. There were several other esteemed schools accepting, but overall Princeton gave an offer that couldn't be refused. The info was sent on 3/31 and I told everyone the next day... no one believed me until I told them again on Saturday. April Fool's day is inconvienent. I got into a pretty good Universtiy and Princeton was never a goal I bothered with because I figured out where I wanted to go sophmore year, but its really great that my sibling got in. If I put effort into going to Princeton, there was a very real possiblity I woudn't get in. However, there was honestly never a doubt in my entire time of knowing my sibling, that getting into schools like Princeton would be a problem. I'd frankly be suprised if it didn't happen. That being said its very great and exciting to see finally happen. I couldn't be more proud.

Congrats to your sibling.

Must be feel great, man. I'd be super proud of my sibling if they got in such a prestigious university.

Take them out and buy them a drink or something to celebrate.

I got my acceptance letter from the uni of Edinburgh 7 years ago and I'm pretty sure I'll never forget that feeling. So, make sure they appreciate that moment and make some memories to associate it with.

Really happy for you both.

Thanks, I've been trying to plan something big. I want to get a big surprise before its time to go, but we don't live close at all anymore and I've been super busy recently. So the earliest I can arrive is just after graduation season. My older siblings want to go to Six Flags or something, but that doesn't really seem like a coming of age thing, I was thinking like something like a road trip, but that seems like anything can happen. Your idea seems pretty cool so I'll definetly discuss it with the others when I have the time!

Nice dude

Woo? This is a video game sales site, we don't care.

This site does a lot of things great not just sales. Including allowing forums for other things going as far as politics. I won't really argue further. I neither have the time to and I recognize the name Cabba as a troll on this site and you only have 2 posts... :/

Find better things to do with your time than posts on a thread you don't care about.

wow. nice, they have like what a 5% acceptance rate or something crazy like that.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Thats fantastic. I hope your sibling takes the time out to enjoy the overall experience too.
