you guys are the cowards here, the term xenophobia has "phobia = abnormal fear" in it for a reason

how do you even live with all that fear?

How is wanting controlled immigration as opposed to an open door policy xenophobic? It's the only sensible position to hold.

because applying it to the situation with Syrian refugees (there never was an "open door policy" for regular immigration)  means leaving millions of people (that can be saved) to die in a warzone or in badly maintained refugee camps around the country out of fear of hyperxenis

It's an idealistic view that unfortunately cannot work in the real world. Even ignoring the fact that a great many of these refugees are actually economic migrants, not genuine refugees, European countries just cannot accept the vast number of people thay are being flooded with. There are huge problems arising from the conflicting cultures and values, and massive strains put upon public services. Unemployment is already in the millions in the Eurozone and there are huge shortages of housing. Where are these millions of additional people going to live and work?

there are 500+ million people living in the EU, you are telling me increasing the population by at most 1% in the face of the Syrian crisis (and hopefully a lot can return once the situation stabilizes) would end in civil wars?

A combination of factors in a zone that is already rife with civil unrest could unfortunately lead to such an occurence, yes. Can you please answer where these millions of additional people are going to live and work in countries that already have millions unemployed, housing shortages and public services at breaking point?

Heads back in sand in 3...2...1...

It's more like people's heads are in sand when it comes to crime like this performed by natives or non-muslim immigrants.

I mean, when people say muslim immigrants perform more of these (sexual harrasment/abuse) crimes than natives, they are right.... until you adjust for the age and gender composition of these immigrants. At least in Norway, 20-40 year old muslim immigrant men have a *barely* higher rape/sexual harassment rate than 20-40 year old Norwegian men, however people use misleading bogus statistics that don't account for the demographic spread of immigrants (ie. 20-40 year old men of any origin have higher rates for sexual related crimes, and it just so happens that this age and gender group is overrepresented in the immigrant population compared to the native population, making it seem like immigrants as a whole are more inclined to perform such acts than natives, when in reality, when you compare them by different age and gender groups, the rates are about the same for natives and muslim immigrants). People wilfully ignore this so that they  can try and blame it on the culture of the countries these people are from.

Not that I in no way condone of rape or any sexually harrassing acts, and I think Europe has ways to go on the integration side of things (which is the real problem...)

No surprise. This is what you get for letting them into a proper country. These immigrants and Muslims can't be trusted, they aren't like proper people.

Yet these countries never learn and let them in anyway because it's PC.

I'm sure historical revisionists will declare that Josef Fritzl was a Muslim immigrant from Syria. Surely it's only immigrants that can do these things. No white European would ever be a paedophile or serial sex abuser. No sex crime has ever been commiteed by a white European, right?

Simply saying where these alleged criminals are from is racist? The bar has gotten really low, sounds like people hate facts.

Statements made in public that deliberately incite hatred against certain individuals or groups in society are punishable.

This is our law, considering shading negative light over these immigrants does exactly that it is in fact not legal. It incites hatred against a minority which is punishable by law, rarely executed but still.

Swedish law forbids registration based on people’s ancestry or religion;

http://www.jewishpress.com/news/swedish-pm-is-right-you-cant-blame-muslim-refugees-for-rise-in-rapes/2016/01/21/

Considering Germany and Sweden already share nearly 3/4 of eachother is laws thanks to EU. It's safe to assume that those laws also apply in Germany.

Just because a law exist doesent mean its racist or intended incite hate.

It sounds like they have to avoid giving information in fear of being called racist.

Not to mention, of course, that in this particular case homosexuality and paedophilia are prohibited in the Quran, so these guys have acted against the teachings of Islam. And of course the moral standard in the Quran relating to heterosexual activity is that sex should only be between a man and woman. So any sex crime committed by a Muslim is against Islamic law. Hence one cannot blame an immigrant's Muslim heritage for that behaviour, rather blame their lack of adherence to their Muslim faith for this behaviour. They might find some warped interpretation of the Quran to justify blowing things up and killing people in airports, but there's nothing in the Quran to justify crimes of this nature. So given rapists come in all colours and nationalities and Islamic law condemns sex outside of marriage and prohibits homosexual sex outright, it would seem that the immigrant and religious status of these people are not actually relevant to the case.

I'd love to see what Politically correct people would say in response to this.

I don't want to ban refugees, but we can't allow them to keep coming in if they'll simply cause problems and eat up Europe's healthcare system and economy
