The director has no say in whether there's a sequel, the IP is Sony owned and if they felt there was sufficient good will from gamers for a sequel featuring new and improved content then they can easily get one going. But personally I don't think there is enough good will from enough gamers for Sony to consider it worth the financial risk. I personally thought the game was OK and it was worth buying at 30% less than MSRP and I would very much like to see a sequel. But I also think I'm in a small minority and that sentiment more like that of Richmyster6907 is the majority.
