I think it's more a history of us expecting a lot from cameo appearances from a children's Pokemon variety show. It's like expecting Masahiro Sakurai to hint at who's going to be the next character in Smash in Famitsu since he's been a writer for a long time.

They didn't show anything because they wait until the announcement of the 3DS successor because it will be ported to that.

Uh no, you don't set up an event in advance and announce you're gonna be talking about something that everyone's hyped for yet needs to be expanded upon, only to show up with basically nothing or worse, literally nothing. That's stupid every time, plain and simple. Btw I was only expecting a silhouette, didn't even get that much.

Again, I don't know the full translation of the announcement on whether or not they were trying to hype something up for yesterday. If they said they were going to talk about details then I would be inclined to agree with you. But if they didn't say much, I would take these kinds of news with grains of salt, considering what are the circumstances. The directors, composers, and producers have made guest appearances in the Pokemon live shows before and their history on the show has not always indicated something special is going to be shown besides what we already know.

Btw, i would like to know the ratio of Western people disliking the video compared to say Japanese since they are very familiar on how the show works.
