Xbox 360, was a good name, but it also made it harder to name its sucessor, Xbox One, i don't think that was a good name, but i hope that they don't name it NextBox, would be the same mistake that Wii U, did.

I Don't think that we will have something like the PS3, and Xbox 360, where Microsoft, have a Huge early advantage over Sony, the Xbox 360, was really a good move, and they need the Perfect Timing, to make it again.

The next Xbox will be Xbox 10 or maybe Xbox 4 or 5 or Xbox Infinity plus One to suggest the break and new start. Think Windows 10 coming after Windows 8.

The rumors that the xbox one and PS4 were gonna have upgraded versions were untrue from the start. It makes no sense to launch new console hardware mid-gen.

So this means the Xbox One will be demolished in graphics comparisons if its 4k vs 900p in every DF video if PS4K still comes out? I hope Sony sticks to their guns, as PC is the main competitor now

If its a long gen, and the PS4 has a .5 model upgrade, thats suddenly more than twice as fast as the Xbox One?

Xbox One is like 34-40% slower than the Current model PS4.

If a new one comes out, thats more than twice as fast as the current PS4,
It will make the Xbox One look old.

I dont think going "so what if our console is the slowest on the market, behinde the NX and normal PS4, its fine", is going to sell them alot of consoles.

Just call the next one the Windows 10 Box. It'll be like a Steam Machine, for Microsoft games.

Obviously. The new piece of hardware they release this summer will be known not as the Xbox One.5, but the Xbox One 360. 

The Xbone is already seen as the weaker console, Xbone 1.5 is actually their chance to reclaim that performance gap (but only performance and resolution, not better effects since the base console is still 1.3Tflop, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link).

If they don't have an answer to PS4K, the Digital foundry comparisons are gonna get ugly. 900p vs 1080p vs supersampled 1080p/4k

Hell I'd buy an Xbone 1.5 if it was something crazy, a $699 console that's as powerful as a high end pc.

Good. The idea of an upgrading a console mid-cycle is imo terrible. Wait till the gen is over. If how a game looks is this much of an concern then get a gaming PC.
