So I just got done watching Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

And the movie was very meh for me. It was ok but it could've been better than it did.

There were some parts I thought were awesome and parts I thought sucked hard.

But the best part of the film in my view was Wonder Woman!

She came across as a hot and sexy badass in this movie and Gal Gadot really sold her character well in my view!

Now I'm more interested in Wonder Woman than I've ever been and of course, Gadot signed for more films to play the role, the upcoming Justice League films and of course the solo WW film.

So it led me to wonder what to expect from the Wonder Woman movie.

I think that the movie be the origin of Wonder Woman and will introduce her back story and who she is to the general population. For 2 reasons I say this:

1) To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time ever that a Wonder Woman lice action film has ever been done.

2) Despite being one of DC's main trio of superheroes, Wonder Woman, her story, adventures , allies, villains, etc. aren't as well known or as popular to the casual, general public outside of comic books like Superman and Batman.

If you were to ask someone on the street to name 3 of Batman's enemies or the home planet of Superman they could easily give you an answer. But ask them anything about Wonder Woman and they'd probably draw a blank. I mean outside of the Justice League, not much had been seen of Wonder Woman for all this time. Meanwhile, look at Superman and Batman, they've gotten countless movies, TV shows, video games, and countless amounts of exposure and advertisement outside of comic books. Hell even Green Lantern got his own movie.

But Wonder Woman? Nothing or close to nothing. I never heard of a Wonder Woman animated series, etc.

So the general population, from my viewpoint, is mostly unfamiliar with just who Diana truly is.

So I believe this film will properly introduce her to the world and show her who she really is.

And when this film releases, I believe we will see a huge surge in popularity in the Wonder Woman brand.

It'll draw in a brand new audience to the character who will be extremely curious as well as die-hard DC followers who are well familiar with her and will have stand toe-to-toe alongside Batman and Superman in overall popularity.

Well I expect it to be good first of all. I liked the little footage we've seen of it and the cast of the movie is solid. After that, we already know it's an origin story set during the first World War. It'll give the mainstream audience some insight into her character and also explain why she went into hiding as she told Bruce in Batman v Superman.

Yeah, that sounds very possible. 

It'll essentially introduce her as well as set the stage for the eventual Justice League film

I expect nothing but absolute perfection.

More wooden acting from Gadot. Man was she awful in BvS. Just one face and one tone while speaking.

What do I hope for? Or what do I expect. Because at this rate, I expect a disappointment :(

DC movies are meh so a big meh for this one too.

After watching Batman v Superman today, I can't say I'll bother caring for it.

Yep, she sold me too. She was perfect. I expect more beauty.

Action-scenes with her in BVS were pretty fantastic, but her acting needs improvement so I expect Patty Jenkins to direct Gal Gadot better than Zack Snyder did.
