Where did that shield come from lol, Im sure I had no shield when I played this. Ppl saying this combat is bad are crazy this is like a refined Kingdom Hearts, its awesome.

I got 370. Not letting Noctis get hurt (which decreases your score) among other things might boost that number of yours.

There's a shield and a cross shuriken. You can get it only after getting the warp ability and getting at least 100 crystals. You will need to warp on the top of the building in the end and then fall down to a previously hidden platform in the building to get both weapons.

Killing monsters also gives fragments and since you can spawn as many as you want I don't think there's a limit. I had 400+.

I wanted to say that you could spawn them as much as you wanted on that Third Dream phase, but for some reason, that monster-spawning button didn't work after pressing it twice in my playthrough.

Oh wow, now I have to go and play the demo again from the beginning.

I think they are infinite. I got almost 500 in total and I realized it was possible to farm them near the long corridor. You just have to stand on the monster button... then all monsters of that dream will reset, and then you can kill them automatically with Meteor. Keep doing that and you'll end up getting as much fragments you wish.
