Gee... not that much topic related but I wish Studio Ghibli would animate the whole Nausicaä Manga. It's just freaking epic and the darkest stuff Miyazaki ever created.

Akira has really well made animation, but the story was pretty much squeezed into a 2 hour movie with cutting out a lot of the plot.
So.. I wouldn't consider it better than the manga.
