Definitely good looking device but as always it's the inside that counts. And that is in the case of PS4 sadly vegetable based instead of silicon based.
I've played the demo and there is no reason for me to believe that they improved the performance in the final game (LR:FFXIII says hello). Those were nowhere near stable 30fps. I may be a stupid PC elitist who is now used to play 144fps on a 1440p monitor but even I know the difference between 30fps and below. And in this day and age no game ever should be allowed to drop below 30fps, not even for half a second.
If it does then either are the programmers complete retards or the system is simply underpowered. Considering that FF games are known for breaking visual fidelity bounderies on console hardware I will assume it's the latter.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
