Which means that a PC version exist in some form and the build is far along enough to be shown in public. When they decide to actually release a PC version, they aren't going to start from scratch.

All games are made on a PC, and developers can play it while developing it but that build is not something they can release on the PC platform. Furthermore that was the Platinum Demo which is a demo made separately, and exclusively as a demo only and features nothing that will be found on the final game(except some character models).

If it takes more than a year then I'll be adding it to the Steam wishlist and wait for ye old sale, just like I did with GTA V. If they want 10m they are going to have to release it sooner or later before they go back to pulling a TR and getting super sulky about their set bar.

Because the extra FPS isn't worth the wait if I want to play it now.  I have a system that will play it.  So I'll buy whatever I can get it on.  

I'm a PC gamer, but contrary to popular opinion on here, we're not all graphics whores.  I just tend to try and get the best version available at the time.

So wanting to play the objectively better version of a game is elitist now? I guess everyone who bought multiplat titles on PS4 instead of X1 is also an elitist then.

Of course a simultaneous release never happened but we have seen an enourmous push towards PC by SE lately so it wouldn't be the weirdest thing to happen.

I will only wait if the wait is not uncertain. If I don't know when it will be released on PC at launch, then I will buy it for console. Because if they don't announce it timely it could mean a year or more waiting and that's like 25 internet years if you don't want to get spoiled at every corner.

There's a difference between what you just said,  and what you previously sad. "Forced to play it on a potato." The ps4 is still a good looking system man...
