Ps4 is the king of home consoles in Japan.  It just so happens lately it's overtaken the handhelds vita and 3DS. But that's irrelevant.  Even if it wasn't,  once it's doing much better than the XB1 and Wii U it's still the king.  

 

Sadly that person in the first page said that the PS4 is the king of Japan. No where it says console. Then the other girl agreed with her. Hilarious I know!

Yeah it's hilarious because in the land dominated by handhelds a home console shouldn't be ruling it ever.  Just like the ps4 has been recently.

Going off of Dengeki, it looks like Summon Night 6 on Vita could crawl to 75,000 with discounts and holidays coming up....maybe. Anyone have a LTD of previous entries?

Digimon World: Next Order isn't looking the greatest, but somebody did point out that Cyber Sleuth had great legs. Maybe with some patches and DLC it could end up more in line with CS sales.

Attack on Titan Vita version continues to impress, imo. It's been dropping less and less the last few weeks and is now nearly a good 10,000 over the PS4 version. Maybe next time KT will give proper ad time to their handheld entries as I feel it could have done even better with a stronger marketing push.

Dragon Quest Builders is gonna cross 300,000 retail soon. Celebrate! Should Sqare Enix decide to slash the price to increase awareness about the IP, I could easily see 500,000 being within reach.

That would be relevant if the vita was a home console.  It's the current king (extremely dominant)  in the home console space and in few months it will be the king of the gen when it passes by the Wii U.

Is hard to surpass a Handheld in Japan, because of that the Mobile Market is so big there, they aways had preference for that, Vita, launched december 2011 for Japan, and PS4, launched february 2014 for Japan, and PS4, might surpass PS Vita's Numbers on Japan in the next year.

Maybe next year but it might take until 2018. It's actually tough to call.
