So me and my firend were looking at the badges and a lot of them we shoulda had like posted 100 posts, singing up, uploading an avatar. Do they just not work sometimes or..? 

They don't, lol.

They shoudl work, but apparently they are broken.As far as I know, Truncks is trying to fix it, and currently he hands out the badges manually.But hopefully the system should be fixed(not sure though)

I don't think they've worked in a long time, at least in any practical manner. In fact, I'm not sure they've ever worked properly.

So it's not just programmed so when you get x amount of posts you get it or whatever? It has to get handed out? That's odd :P

If I recall correctly Trucks has to update them manually because they don't get updated automatically.

Don't care for badges really, i never did when i was in the scouts.

Yep, every 4-6 months he updates the badges.  Usually after a few threads get made about badges.
