If its just support for 4k tv, I dont have one of those yet, so wouldnt be any rush to buy one, I would probably get one in 2017 though if i do decide to upgrade the TV... getting new tech is always nice. And you think that's the reason? Same goes with VR. Even you have VR, it doesn't mean you'll use it all the time. They could enable turning off the light regardless of VR.

Oculus Rift was the future 2012, of course Sony had to prepare for VR, but it was still uncertain what VR would mean in hardware.

I have not heard any good explanation to why the lightbar can not be shut off. They knew they had to track the controller in space.

Hmm, will it have better WiFi?

The WiFi of my White Destiny Bundled PS4 is rather iffy for Remoteplay (the majority of my gaming is with remoteplay).

So, id spend another 400 bucks to not even use the 4K just for remoteplay. Yup sounds like something Id do.

Tho I do agree it is probably just a slim model that can output 4k Bluerays / Video.

If true, I won't be buying it.

It would also put me off from getting the PS5 within a few years of launch (if that's a traditional console, anyway).

I know, and I also know that I won't be buying this Ps4.5 if it's real. The real problem for me is consoles trying to be like Pc's, what's the point in buying a console that will later get an upgrade? Might was well get a PC.

If you take out the easy access from consoles you are only left with exclusives.

Im also against the idea of a Ps4.5, even tho im a massive Sony fan.

If the thing is indeed coming, but it ends as a ps4 with an HDMI 2.0 port and support for 4k movies, i couldnt care less.

But if it is an updated version of the actual console, i would be pissed to.

BUT, i will wait for a confirmation of some sort before getting mad for this rumor.
