I'd say Mario 3 really holds up well for a NES game!

I'm going to name a game that no one has mentioned. While some of the sprites might be the best graphic wise the way the game played blew my mind away at the time.  Game played like Afterburner, Space Harrier, etc...

Looking back there are a lot of visually impressive games. I can't really decide which one is best:
-Megaman 2
-Blaster Master
-Battletoads
-Castlevania 3
