Is Quantum Break a new standard for emotion in character graphics ?

I will say 50/50.

And yet so far i haven't said QB is a bad looking game and you are the only one who i have claimed to be stealth-bashing, which is kinda true and unfortunetly easy to dismiss, cause i can't really know for sure.

When someone makes a claim that something is the best, doesn't matter what. It can't be argued with subjective opinions, it can only be settled with fact's.
So if you think this is the best looking game, so just say: In my opinion, then we have no problem. When it comes to objective fact's, then either prove it or change the statement into a opinion.

If this world was based on opinions, we would have been in far more problems then we already are.

I am not the one insecure here, it's you who start's nit-picking in tiny details of a game that is a direct competition for the greatest looking game of 2016.

But that nit-picking did make my day a bit brighter!

You are entitled to your opinion as everyone else, but no one is entitled to change the truth unless if it is the truth and unfortunetly, we all need to provide verification for that.

Also it's not a crime to be engaged into a conversation either.... So i am sorry, that my engagement is considered being insecure..

What?I don't think Quantum break is so good, the graphics are better than the facial animations,I'm not impressed, games on last gen has way better animations, like L.A. Noire,Beyond two Souls and the Last of Us,not even close to Uncharted 4.

What do you think of the recent previews which say Quantum Breaks Facial animations are better than all those games. 1 specifically says all those games are bettered by Quantum Break.

Doesn't matter what they say if it isn't true. That marketing money must be helping them see more "clearly"

Great, I come into a thread about Quantum breaks facial animations and everyone posts video's of UC4 that i'm trying to avoid.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Well I haven't played UC4 yet. But the facial stuff in this video isn't as realistic as QB that I played. Something looks off on the timing. I just did a check and UC4 has no Facial animation capture. Hmmm.

Really? That is head and shoulders better than the animations I saw in that 50 minute preview...

Also, you might want to tell that to ND.

Go to 5:20.

My apologies. I read that Naughty Dog hand crafted their animations.

If OP added a pool, i think nobody will post them

Maybe we should have this discussion when the games are released.

I base my view on the fact I played part of Act 1 in London last week at a Microsoft showroom. I have personally played QB. Its better than anything in my Xbox One collection.

To say it looks better then all other games, then Nit-pick UC4 which is 100% in game graphics, when QB is 60-70% cutscene? What?
That is like comparing a game with Pixar animation, which are pre-rendered and isn't even taxing at all, Cut-scenes are like a animated movie that is placed into the sequence of the game. The In-game graphic's doesn't come close to it's own in-game graphics, ithat is just your opinion, it's not fact and it will never be a fact. The order 1886 looks better then this and that game is 100% in-game graphic's as well ( Correct me here if i am wrong at that one, cause i am 80% sure and that plenty of chance of me being wrong)

I can believe it is the best looking XB1 game though, even though i am sure Ryse looks better, but apperantly QB beats that game too, according to you..

Again, the graphic's of the game doesn't change just because you played it and not someone else..

Are you sure you don't need glassses or anything? Maybe you just enjoyed yourself at that conference so much that you didn't have time to really pay attention to the enviroment of the game?

*Just to be clear, it does look top quality, but it is not the best looking game of this gen so far*

I didn't nitpick UC4.

As far as overall graphics king? I didn't even make a thread about that. I rarely compare games overall as its stupidly impossible to compare as all games strive for technical things differently. Unless the games are identical then its impossible to do that. Quantum Break has the best particle effects, best post processing effects, ambient occlusion and animations I've seen. The environments are detailed and are of a high quality. Also the emotions are really impressive throughout.

But a game like UC4 wont have all the effects and particles in it because its not a game bending and stopping time. The whole image in UC4 doesn't need to show what QB shows as it can't be paused, rewound or reverted. So is fair to compare a game like UC4 in the areas it doesn't push very hard?

Again the thread is about Character emotion. Facial animation, voice acting and emotion portrayed.

But yes overall nothing currently on Xbox one gets close to it. I can't comment on UC4 as I've not played it. And haven't read any previews saying about its visuals.

Also just so we are clear, Ryse is beaten visually by Halo 5, Rise Of The Tomb Raider, Forza 6, The Division and Forza Horizon 2 to name a few for various reasons. But that's another topic.
