Have u ever cheated/abused/tricked a game to get a trophy without doing the hard work?

When i was trying to get all the trophies in Unreal Tournament III, you had to play like 100 matches of all these different game modes, as well as winning 500 matches in total, so I'd just let the game run over night and have the bots play. Then I found out my PS3 made some really awful sounds over night when I did this, like it was breaking or something, so I stopped doing that.

I have used B-Spec in GT5 to get money to buy cars while watching tv. Couple button presses every 10 minutes to start the next race. If the hdd indicator makes the right pattern then the sequence was correct.

I think finding ways to abuse the system is just as fun as playing the game.
I can't think of a funny anecdote though.

That trophy was glitched and you actually only had to go about 70km.
