Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could let me know what are some good PS4 games with local multiplayer. I'm having company over in a couple weeks and I'd like to have something we could play on the PS4. We usually play Wii U games but I recently got a PS4 and just realized that literally none of the games I have support local multiplayer. Any suggestions?

BTW, please no sports games or COD. 

EDIT: I just wanted to clarify, please no games also available on Wii U, and also please only family friendly games. Thanks

What is local multiplayer?? I've never heard of the term before

Trackmania turbo was a hit at my last gathering, has split screen as well as a 2 person controlling one car feature.

Diablo III is a great 1-4 player game can play locally.

Off the top of my head, some of the best couch MPs I've tried/seen on PS4 have been:

Diablo 3 (soo good on consoles)
LittleBigPlanet 3 (hilarious after a few beers)
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 (one of my favorite IPs)
Borderlands Collection (such a great shooter and co-op experience)
Resogun, Dead Nation and Super Stardust Ultra (Housemarque games in general, looking forward to Alienation)
Ultra Street Fighter IV
Mortal Kombat X
Rayman Legends
Rocket League
Minecraft
TrackMania Turbo
Trials Fusion
Trine 2
TowerFall Ascension
Gauntlet
Helldivers
LEGO games

I guess I should have specified that the games would need to be family friendly, so no Diablo, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, etc. I'm thinking I may check out Rocket League. I'll look into some of those others also. 

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth has local multiplayer. And since that's an excellent game, the coop is probably just as awesome.

Seriously, though, Salt and Sanctuary has local co-op and plays like Castlevania and Dark Souls had a forbidden love child who is really into punk art styles.

You know that minecraft, lego games, trine 2 and Rayman legends are already available on Wii U, right? Rayman Legends best option is using gamepad with local multiplayer, even better when there are 5 to play

Yup, totally. I actually have Rayman Legends on Wii U.

I was looking for games not also available on Wii U of course, which is why I think I'll check out Rocket League. I need to look into some of those other games too since I've never heard of a lot of them.
