FLASHBACK: Brussels Ridiculed Idea Of Islamic Violence In Ad [VIDEO]

In the wake of Tuesday’s deadly bombing that killed at least 34 people, Brussels officials may regret an advertisement two months ago ridiculing the idea the city was a center of Islamic radicalism.

VisitBrussels, the city’s tourism department, crafted the #CallBrussels campaign in an effort to disassociate the city with Islamic terror after residents were linked to the November, 2015, Paris attacks and other extremist plots.

As part of the campaign, VisitBrussels set up telephones across the city and invited people to call them in order to speak with Brussels passersby. It then used these calls to create a video touting Brussels as a peaceful, welcoming city.

I can't believe they haven't taken this down yet, it's getting destroyed in the comments section.  First caller's question in the video:

"Did you see some people fighting with guns or bombs?"

Woman answering the phone:  "NOOOOoooo, Hahaha OMG no way!"

Yeahhhhhh....

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Islam is the death of Europe.
If you compare the life in Western Europe now and 15 years ago, it's a totally different world. The old European way of life is dead and gone in the Western Europe. People live in fear and at the same time are brainwashed into being scared of saying the truth and what they really think, they can only say what's "nice", what's "accepted" and "politically correct". This is what we get from this XXI century fascism and it only gets worse.

Death is always a tragedy, but I'm not going with any of the "je suis..." bullshit. You have to pay the price for your stupidity. In the future I won't be a Berliner, Amsterdamer, Munchener, etc., either. If you are too stupid to solve the problem and instead only make everything worse, die for it. We all know it's not the question of "if", but "which city next". It's not even the question of "when", since we all know it's going to be very, very soon. Still, the West chooses to be faggoty, passive and submissive.

I just hope that this year's edition of World Youth Days in Kraków won't be hit because of what you're turning Europe into. And to think it's Central Europe that's getting all the hate for being reasonable and caring about the safety of their citizens.

Wake up, Europe!

What I find ironic is that the old Western Europe that you are praising would have been totally against Poland or any eastern european country joining EU.

Now why would that be? Oh, and I am against Eastern European country entering the Union. I really love these people, consider them my brothers, but the civilizational gap is still too huge. Some should never enter (Russia ), other only once they finally fix their issues - corruption and post-soviet mentality still rule there and they have to shake it off first.

And as a sidenote - at the moment I don't consider EU an organisation worth being part of. Same goes to the Schengen Zone. I hope we leave it (Schengen, not UE just yet) soon, there is too much danger that terrorists from Germany enter our country unchecked.

One last warning everyone. Please avoid baseless generalizations.

The idea of hating someone / something is the starting point of everything that is bad. If this continues I'll have to lock this thread.

On the bright side, in threads like this it is easy to spot the bigots. They will always take threads about tragedies as license to post their justifications for being prejudiced assholes. Easy pickings.

There's one right now: Scisca. Ban her.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I wonder what their end-goal is. If they continue like this until all of Europe is burning, then what? Invade countries and take over? Feels like a waste to just let everything burn. Hmm

I mean, no matter how many they lure over to their side, there will always be plenty of anti-Isis-people. Is the goal to kill them all? Are they content with watching them panic and cry? I'd love to know..

And they must realize that the more they poke, the more likely an actual counterattack will happen. Is that something they want?

Oh yeah! Call me a bigot. Try to ban me. The only thing you can do. I guess it hurts you when I'm telling you the truth that's bursting your precious bubble and showing how ridiculous your leftist utopian dreams are. You can keep on dismissing what I'm saying, but I wonder what you think and how you twist reality when you see facts like these:

In 2015 UK government issued a map of safest and most dangerous countries:

Also, here is a map of terrorist attacks and crimes that included taking hostages - since a certain 11th September:

Have you noticed something? After a closer inspection? A certain rather big European country that seems do be doing a better job than the rest? How are you going to explain this to yourself? Cause I'm sure you won't shut up and listen to us - no sir! After all, you are the smartiest and we're nothing more than a bunch of stuh-peed bigots. You won't admit you're wrong and that these vile bigots are doing something right, that would be a blasphemy! It can't be that we are the ones who are right and the rest should follow us. I can't be! Just can't!! Them bigotzzz!!!! Ban 'em!! In the name of democracy and tolerance, ban 'em all!!

On a serious note, this second map should really make you all think and ask yourself - who seems to have this stuff under control? Whose example do you wanna follow? Who should you listen to? I'm also going to remind you that Poland is strongly involved in the Middle East. We used to control about a quarter of Iraq, we are still fighting in Afghanistan, our F-16s are going to Syria. Plenty of reasons to earn the wrath of ISIS, yet...

So when we say the West is crazy suicidal and is digging its own grave, I believe we know what we're saying. We seem to understand this problem far better than you.

Definitely not Germany (and I really don't want to see this map by the end of 2016)
