Glad the Apple pencil will be usable on more devices. However, that won't save the iPad.

Apple needs to reinvent the form factor of their tablets. Take a look at the competition. (Hint: Surfacebook)

I don't know why people expect apple to change the world of smartphones, tablet etc every year.

it's just an update, ok, don't buy it if you're not interested, no need to bash them for not having great innovations this year.

If you want to bash them, find something that actually matter. It's really not hard to find.

Sorry, but they deserve it. This was suppose to be a big event, instead we got rehashed products that are smaller. Sorry, but many companies are doing far better than that...

Based on what was this supposed to be a "big" event? Pretty sure it was well known before that this event was basically for the smaller iPhone redux primarily. They're not allowed to have an event for lower key product launches?

Aside from the price which is a little high, the new iPad is cool, I like the iPad Pro but don't like that oversized form factor, this is much more functional.

The big iPad pro is too big, the smaller iPad pro is too small. I would've liked something in the middle. First world problems

Apple sells what consumers buy and they do a fine job with that.
I do not blame them for not innovating enough to my tastes,i can only wonder why so many want to waste their hard needed money on yearly products like this.

This Conan video comes to mind...

(sorry, couldn't get the embedded video to work)

Interestingly, they have managed to release a new 9.7" iPad at a $599 price point (where typically, new iPads would start at $499).  It seems like they are trying to increase profit margins...

Because everyone loves a higher price on a product with declining sales.

I remember when Steve jobs first introduced the iPad, he was proud of the $499 price point. I don't get what Tim is doing, that's not how you react to a shrinking market. Introduce a new form factor or something that may ignite sales. The Apple Pencil, which I love, isn't it.

A camera bump on the new iPad Pro.

People are gonna enjoy drawing on a device that wobbles on the table thanks to this design decision. /s

Seriously? Jony Ive...
