I'm gonna say Pokemon Stadium 2. The models were ported into the GC games. And they looked good in there too.

I'm stuck between Banjo and Majora. Maybe even DK64. These games looked pretty impressive, even for the N64. Environments looked great and models looked better as well. Maybe I'd edge it out to Banjo be a slight margin?

Basically, any game that made use of the larger size cartridges later in the system's life. Conker's Bad Fur Day is an example of one such game. It used a cartridge that could store 64MB of data, while something like Super Mario 64 only had 4MB available, if I recall correctly.

It's funny that you can tell the Conker and Mario 64 carts apart in the dark from the weight difference of the 2 of them, you can feel that cart has a whole lot more memory chips wedged in there, can never get that same feeling from a CD based game... unless it's one of the FF series with a ton of disks in the box.

Conker passed like a Dreamcast game at the time. Perfect Dark and DK64 were amazing as well. I really liked wave race as well, the water physics was amazing at the time. Pokemon stadium 2 had nice shiny graphics as well. But overall, conker is the winner. Great game btw!

Anyone ever play Operation Winback (just winback in the states) Was a N64/PS2 game, the N64 version I recall having some pretty awesome realistic looking people in it (for the N64) most playthroughs on youtube seem to be of the PS2 version but if you can get your hands on a copy it's worth checking out a late life N64 game.

Probably not the best technically, but I think Perfect Dark and Jet Force Gemini both look outstanding for their time.

Man, I miss the Rare days on N64.

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

they're all so burry, I can't see anything.. seriously.. unless the graphics are very simple (AKA Mario 64) it looks really bad on the N64...

Yeah, Rare had a lot more space to work with on Conker. They didn't for example have to stretch textures as much as Mario 64 or other early games on the system did. I have to admit, I never realized the weight difference on the cartridges.

Conker or MM.
