Well, some new unexpected manga got some updates. I'll just start with this one, since this is one I felt I just had to share.

 

Also, I've had my few spots I used to frequent before something happened and I changed sites. I think the 1st one was onemanga, but that went down. Next was mangahere, but something happened with that, and then finally I ended up on kissmanga, where I still hang out.

I use Mangatown now...has a nice layout and I tend to find everything I want. I think it updates slow for smaller manga though...and recently bigger manga have had the "unavailable in your region" notice...so maybe it's also on its way out. Dang...

My go-to for anime just went down, too.  

I'd been at Batoto for quite awhile so that was a shock.  Even paid the $5 to turn off ads.  Looks like a lot of the scan groups are getting behind Mangadex so I'm giving that a shot.

... anyway, wow, I didn't expect that to update aga-- ... anymore.

Yeah, the ads on Kissmanga can be quite horrendous at times, to the point where it's a hassle just to read anything. I do like having the whole chapter laid out in one page. It's what keeps me from finding another place.

And while the update for AGAIN!! is nice, it's so infrequent, I don't really remember what's happening with the story anymore... I'll have to reread some chapters to refresh my memory.

Actually I never read any manga, but the two genres I would be interested in are horror and crime (whether it's a police trying to take down criminals or it's centered on yakuza).

Well, I'll need to see if I have any crime related manga in my list, but I do have some horror manga I can recommend. Ibitsu is a good one to read if you want to read some horror. I dunno if you've seen anything on it, but here's some pics for it.
