Well I finally got to read some manga after like 2-3 weeks, but I can't help but have a sad aura after reading them.

Magi, JUST when Alibaba became the protagonist I always expected him to be, is like a chapter away from being over.

Jitsu Wa Watashi Wa, is almost over the last chapter was a bit cheesy, but I appreciate the heart of the message

Jun won't give Tomo a piggy back ride...

And on top of it all, I just read the last chapter of Ocha Nigosu
Truly bitter sweet days.
It feels like every time I try to expand my library it gets smaller.

Ah well, I think I will start back up on Uratarou in like a day or two and at least Hungry Marie is finally heading into a direction I like so looking forward to that.

One Piece: Was really hyped up for the fight between Dogtooth and Luffy only for Luffy to be curb stomped figuratively, followed by a literal curb stomping in the last chapter. All that and I'm reminded that by the end of the last chapter Dogtooth has basically has future vision he was barely using. Also when he trapped Luffy in mocha on the floor was that from his body or was that from the floor itself? Reminds me of how Donflamingo made the floor into strings. I think Sanji is gonna slip in some cooking technique that makes the person addicted to food. If so, Big Mama is gonna go super crazy. I can't lie, I especially love Pudding and Sanji's interactions now

MHA: Well unfortunately this piece of garbage has pretty powerful quirk the way he's even using it is insane. He can even use Nemoto's quirk. Also Sir Nighteye's face in that one panel was the same as when I came into realization of what's going to go down. Nighteye is wrong though. At the very least, about Deku. Toga and Twice are going to appear. I don't know how exactly it's going to go down, but more than likely Deku gets cloned and said clone gets killed. Chisaki doesn't kidnap Eri, more than likely it will probably be Toga. She will probably become Chisaki as some form of a 2 for one bonus to capture Eraserhead. Uraraka's team really came in a big way. I can't really imagine how they factor in right now. Stay strong, Lumillion!

The 2nd manga is Kageno datte Seishun Shitai: A story about a short 4 eyed girl with no friends who one day finds herself friends with and fake dating a popular pretty boy in her class. Initially the guy does this to keep the girls from pestering him as well as become friends with this girl, Kageno, but they begin to develop stranger feelings for each other. It's outright adorable and quite funny. Kageno's usual appearance is quite funny and cute to see.

Ah I remember this. I haven't read this in years. I think the point it ended when I read was when they were in the ferris wheel. It will be nice to revisit this! Glad you posted it too as I had completely forgotten the name XD.

Anyways, here's some news for the few people here who read it. Hungry Marie is cancelled.

The link is in French, but it seems to be confirmed. I suppose it's expected...since it's been at the bottom of the Jump rankings...basically since it came out. I enjoyed it, but eh, the plot was all over the place and didn't really seem to have much direction. Hopefully the author has enough time to wrap up..whatever he needs to wrap up.

I know it was probably not well recieived, but it was just getting back into a pace and setting I was liking again! I'm losing all my manga this season T_T

Those look fun.  I need to remember to look them up.  I've come to enjoy 4-koma.

Luckily, Blend S started getting updates recently, so there's only a few chapters so far, and the characters are really funny and cute, especially the main girl.

As for the 2nd one, it looks like it got updates every 6 months or so, so that one may update very slowly, or never get completed ;_;

Hm

Well, I try to keep things chill here, as long as there aren't too many ship battles going on. Lucky that shipped sailed once certain manga ended some time ago. Come on in and chat manga, we don't bite

Haha only reading a couple right now as my medium is mostly anime but you just can't get the whole story there sometimes also when the animation quality in One Piece has just as many frames as a chapter of the manga well might as well save some time and go to the manga haha
Also them coloured Korean mangas (I think) are pretty good.

It's fine even if you're just following a couple of manga~ I started watching anime this year and have picked up a fair share of titles which I really enjoyed. Maybe you'll learn about some new titles that may catch your interest.  I know what you mean with the anime version sometimes cutting parts from the manga counterpart, as I noticed that in one anime I followed in the summer season.

What manga are you following now? Perhaps I've read or heard of them before, of it gives me a chance to learn about new titles, haha.

I've also read a few Korean manga too. I really loved Can't See, Can't Hear, but Love. That was a really adorable, but sad story ;_;

Glad to remind you of an old title you read I know I've had it happen where I read something, but ended up forgetting the title and sadly couldn't re-read it again ;_;

Also, unfortunately it seems like this manga hasn't really gotten updates since the last time you read it. It's such a cute title too ;_;

So it's getting an anime adaption, you say?

Hell yeah! So glad I could flip a table. I was saying too how I wished it would get the anime treatment

Well, Aharen-san wa Hakarenai got an update, showing the most ridiculous bed hair I've even seen. Heck, even the main guy couldn't avoid it.

Guess I will add a manga suggestion.
It is currently airing as a Japan-only Netflix series.

Kakegurui
"Hyakkaou Academy, a prestigious private school. Here in this academy, students are divided into social strata. Standing above all others is the student council, who rules over the students with their Gambles. It's heaven if you win, and hell if you lose. Those adept at gambling are the envy of all, while the weak are left to suffer the madness of the academy. One girl transfers to this academy. Her name is Jyabami Yumeko."

Think liars game or gamble fish. But with the art style of a horror manga almost.

Oh yeah, I think I've seen that series before. I'm certain it got an anime adaptation as well, and it sure does have some twisted expressions. It sure does have that horror look that's for sure xD It seems quite dark as well, especially with the cast being high school students.

Alright, I think it's about time I start posting some horror titles for the October season Here comes the 1st one, which I'm sure I've mentioned before: Gigi Goegoe

This title's interesting in that it's actually a collection of short stories. A collection of usual tales, it covers strange, unsettling, unfortunate, terrorifying and sometimes even comical situations that happen to everyday people, such as a gallery that allows you to kill certain individuals if you truly desire it, a life resetting elevator, a mysterious unsettling potter, and many more weird tales. I'll just post a few parts from some stories.

So yeah, if you're in the mood for a collection of spooky and rather unique tales, this may be worth checking out

I was scouring for the new chapters but all the latest updates were from things I defintely read before. Now that I think back, I read on a website where someone kept the original and put bubbles of translations in view so you would understand what's going on. Forgot that place too. I thought I'd would be a bit upset, but its nice to have at least a bit of that nostalgia again. Thanks for that.

Great post

Right now reading Gantz, One Piece and Berserk but not too much of beserk I need to get back into it. As for the Korean stuff mostly just comedy/pervy stuff haha but in saying that I'll check out the one you mentioned as I'm a sucker for sad stories and adorbale things :) also have started buying up physical copies of Dragonball/ Super. The other mate of our channel loves his manga though and reads too many to name haha
