I rather enjoy Toki (WARNING: Saki spin-off) but come on, Japan.  I know Ryuuka is supposed to be "developed" for her age but she is wearing this to school?

Wait, this is her mother?  While visiting the school?  Ah ... okay.  Carry on.  (Also, I can understand Toki's reaction)

Oh, elementary kids are totally like that today. I remember when I was teaching kids, they were dressing up like that all the time, and they looked quite old for their age as well. Must be something in their rice or something...

... No, not at all xD

... You scared me.

I mean, Aoba-chan still wears her school uniform to work as a game developer.

It's not a school uniform! It's a suit!!

Jokes aside, this reminded me that a similar thing happened in a recent chapter of a manga I read xD

That kid is going to have a tough time handling that girl, much less holding on to her.

I like 14-sai, though, oddly, it's the characters other than the main couple that really interest me.  The teacher who knows she's hot is my favorite.  She's scary but in a good way.

And it's a school uniform whether Aoba-chan likes it or not!  Perception is reality!

Well, I could only find up to chapter 114 of Higanjima, so that brings my reading of it to an end!! So, I moved on to Ghost in the Shell, because I loved the 1995 film. There are only 3 volumes, so it shouldn't take long to get through it.

Yeaah, the teacher is soo good, but also sooo baaad. She plays with that angry kid so much, I almost feel kinda bad for him. Though he kinda has it coming to him. He did manage to get back at her though. Their relationship is a lil taboo, but I still love seeing it anyways xD

It's interesting that it features a character from another of the mangaka's work that is also another couple...  This author just loves to tease with couples..!

Also, no..! That just isn't true..!! xD

Yeah, it was quite an awesome chapter right?? Lumillion was soo awesome in this chapter, and Overhaul was just.... Dx When he revealed he could just reassemble her and she knew from experience, that just made me feel disgusted at his character. Gosh, just... awful. I hope Eri gets saved... ;_;

Yeah it was an excellent chapter. I won't be able to read the next until tommorow almost afraid to even read it, but I really hope it turns into the best possible scenario

Cotton candy seems to be very versitle nowadays. Turns out your ship floats if its part cotton candy and it can be used to break the 4-koma rule. Looking at previous posts, I'm suprised I'm just now realizing other peoeple read this.

Aho Girl represents that rare situation where I like the anime a LOT more than the manga. Granted, I didn't read much of the manga. It just seemed like a gag manga that would go nowhere. The anime, though, hooked me immediately. The girl's voice is absolutely perfect and really brings the character to life.

Most situations where I can say I like the anime a bit more, like Yuru Yuri, I still like the manga almost as much.
The Aho Girl situation, for me, is relatively atypical. Anyone have any similar experiences?

Interesting, I saw Aho Girl started airing as well and decided I more than likely was going to pass on it, as I read the manga and didn't think much of it. If it's actually great, than I'm tempted to give it a watch.

As for having a similar situation, I guess I'd say Boku no Hero Academia? I still really enjoy the manga, but I feel benefits greatly as an anime, taking great key moments from the story and making them so much more epic and exciting, to the point where I'm screaming and kicking in excitement when I see them. It does the same for the characters, making then much more entertaining and interesting.

Also, I picked up another manga from the author, NOBEL, who also does Mousou Telepathy. There's a few chapters so far and I liked NOBEL's other work, so I'm giving this one a shot. Also, it has a character I like, for obvious reasons... Oh yeah, it's called Boku to Uchuu-jin, or My Alien Days, a 4 koma story about an alien girl who transfers to a new school and is left in the care of two students, Manabu and Mizuho. So... it follows the daily life of Rui the alien, these 2 students and... their everyday life? (It's pretty cute I think...)

For me, anyway, the voice actress for Yoshiko really cracks me up.  The others are really good.
