Just finished reading Kakukaku Shikajika. It's basically an autobiographical story of the mangaka's life, centered around her relationship with her teacher. I'd say the most striking thing about it is how honest it is. While most of it is pretty lighthearted and funny, it portrays her (the mangaka) faults honestly, without looking away which allows it to be relatable and emotionally potent when it wants to be.
I really enjoyed it, and its pretty darn short at only 34 chapters, so it is a quick read too.
