Dang, I have a bit of catching up to do, and I haven't even posted my thoughts on the latest Boku no Hero.

Well, I figured I could drop a manga to suggest as well. Something light, cute and funny. Not sure if I posted this one already, but it's called "Zetsubou Danshi to Chuugoku Musume", a 4 koma manga about a gloomy shut-in and Chinese girl hanging out with the possibility of them falling in love. The star character here is definitely Ron Ron, who just does the funniest, cutest things. I read it more so to see her silly antics.

Also, those 2 manga look interesting, especially Uratarou. That art looks pretty great, and I'll see if I can give them a read.

Right, so my thoughts on Boku no Hero:

Soo, that wasn't the chapter I was hoping for, but it did show the quirk of that one girl with the spikes on her FACE, and she becomes some sort of big DRAGON-like beast, which is awesome! Her hero costume is quite cool too. I am more curious to hear about the mask-wearing thing, so hopefully more questions are answered, as well as a sweet ol' fight next chapter.

I finally had a bit of time to read! Hopefully I can keep up past this week.

Jitsu wa Watashi Wa:

Wow. I forget that this artist can make some truly terrifying looking art! The story is swerving into the core plotline so I'm kind of worried that it is ending very soon. At the same time, this little arc would give some insight to the vampiric dad and it would be nice to see the series get the closure it derserves. Too many don't nowadays

Boku No Hero:

That moment when you're huge because of your quirk but you know you messed up when a dragon casually grabs you by the head and slams you down. I like how Izuku immediately reacted to the flying policeman, checked if he was alright and discerned he wasn't well enough to continue. He's really what he's learned from the license exam and Aizawa is keeping notes!

Overall didn't go as I exactly anticipated, but I'm glad for that. However, at the same time, the lackeys aside, there are three routes this can go.

1) The Heroes catch Overhaul

2) Overhaul escapes and the game of cat and mouse continues

3) Overhaul escapes, but the League of Villains betray him and take Eri

Also this is a bit random, but I just realized that League of Villains is Lov for short. This is going on crazy man conspiracy half life 3 territory, but bring the E for Eri at the end and it comes out to LoVE.

Seven Deadly Sins

Granted his reaction and his emotional slips from time to time, its not really suprising that he had a heart this whole time. What is suprising is that the author thinks that we still care about power levels (Ok I kid, I kid, but when was the last time it was even discussed?). Overall decent chapter. King isn't for the Mr. Steal-Your-Girl route I see XD.

The Promised Neverland

Wow. WOW that is some horrifying stuff. Thank goodness for Reading Rainbow. It's great to learn because knowledge is power! Knowing is half the battle.

... Ok I'll stop.

Seriously though, I did not expect that. That elaborate Venus flytrap was the exact opposite of what I expected. I wonder how they make it out of this one

How is Jisu wa Watashi Wa doing now?  Is it good?  I used to read it for awhile but I kind of let it slip during the whole time travel thing and never picked it back up.  I liked the characters a lot (especially the alien) but the future world and all that was kind of messy.  I also was never behind the main girl all that much compared to the others.

I picked up the China Girl manga.  Ron Ron is really adorable.  It's like watching cat videos just to see them do cute things.

I was thinking that Uratarou's art kind of reminded me of yours in certain panels.

I have to agree with you on that. Yoko was always endearing and sweet, but her character wasn't strong as the others. The Alien girl is still my favorite. Past a certain point in the manga, the story shifts from Yoko to the other characters. Her story still is pivotal to the manga, but so far it largely has been overarching. Its only recently that we've gotten Yoko chapters now that I think about it.

The time travel stuff: There is more of it. Granted, its not used as nearly as much or even as directly as was the first time, but if it was too much of a pain with perhaps the first one, then one or two specific ones will definitely get on your nerves, so I don't want to get your hopes up. Its still convoluted just not as much as before but still used throughout the plot. Sometimes its used to further the plot and when it does it well, its pretty good (granted there's only one arc I can really say that for)

The most recent chapter will be a time travel chapter. Despite this, and even though this in particular feels a bit forced (depends on how its executed), it still makes more sense then the first time it was used.

Well, I read some Uratarou, and I gotta say I absolutely love the art style. Characters have great designs with some exaggerated expressions, line work is really great and it feels very dynamic. The characters are pretty great. I already love Chiyo, who's just so bubbly and cheerful, and the immortal is a good contrast to her (as well as looking like Nagito from Danganronpa 2). I'd say Jii is such an awesome character, but... why did he have to die so early... I loved seeing his huge muscles... T_T Him being a ghost is not the same... But yeah, I'm totally picking this one up.

Updates @_@

One PIece: Backstory arc begins

I feel like there were a ton of cameos this chapter, but even I couldn't keep track of them all (except for Luffy's future commander and the captains that got lost). I'll go on reddit later and see if any of these kids are characters I should recognize.

Big Mom's past is pretty sad, but given what we saw this chapter, I guess I can't blame her parents either. Something is seriously wrong with this child. I can also understand why it's such an uphill battle for her to fulfill Caramel's dream; she was a public enemy of Elbaf (or at least one village).

I'm kind of getting a Of Mice and Men vibe from this chapter, only we know Lenny survives this, and something happens to George.

Anyways, curious what'll come next. What happens to Caramel, how Big Mom lives, and why Big Mom's so devoted to her very image.

My Hero Academia: HEAVY ACTION

Damn, this chapter didn't let up. No extended chase sequence here; everything seems to be moving so quickly.

The Yakuza are so loyal, which is cool for them, but bad for the situation. Mirio better get to Eri fast! Also Deku and Kirishima team was great.

Suneater and Mirio seem really close, I wonder if all of the Big 3 have been together since 1st years. Might be a cool mini-backstory arc.

Shokugeki: Best Senpai

I like how Isshiki borrows something from all his dorm-mates. Ryoko and Marui's fermented wine, Ibusaki and muscle guy's smoked texture, and Yuki and Nikumi's (I guess she's basically a Polar Star now) cheese recipe. Pretty cool that he never forgets where he comes from. His style is cool too. Uses whatever he can to make something new. Makes me feel like he'll be a great rival for Souma later.

Took forever to see one of the main Polar Star members get a real fight, but I suppose one (me) could argue that the main heroine is due even further for a serious battle. Can't wait for that one.

In the meantime, Megashima's fight is coming. I get a bad feeling that he'll lose after the heroes have had two wins. He's supposed to be one of the greatest chefs at Totsuki, but unfortunately he's also a very poorly developed one. Shit...I honestly don't know what's going to happen.

Great week for my main three...already anxious for next week's updates.

Yeah, it's not as though I dislike Yoko.  I think she's really fun, especially the way she gets her fur up around Akane.  She isn't all that compelling, however.  Nagisa, on the other hand, wasn't just "best girl" of the first part of the manga, she was also close to being the actual protagonist.  She had all kinds of character development and was always the one thinking about the situation.  She's also the cutest, especially in color.  I liked Mikan, too.  She had a lot of turmoil and always kept that bittersweet vibe going.  Then the future stuff happened and it felt like Bleach during the "out of good ideas but we're continuing anyway" arcs.

I can't talk about any of that because it's all spoilers!    (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Chapter 18 of Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii was really good.  I loved the little subtitles sprinked throughout.  Fujoshi sure are brazen, though.

Dang, I need to catch up on it then! I've read a couple more chapters, so I'll read some more of Uratarou and also Wotakoi. I was pretty eager to see the next chapter.

Hunter x Hunter is set to return on June 26th

There is no word I can think to express how hype I am for its return.
