No, way too expensive for me and I'm not really interested in the VR technology.

So, you don't live with your gf I presume?

No but I have with other girlfriends. For me, it helps the relationship a great deal if a girlfriend has a least one hobby she can do at the house like reading, painting or playing video games w/o me, etc. It gives us enough alone time to miss eachother even when we're around eachother all the time. I don't need that much time alone everyday or every other day but it helps to have some hobbies that don't involve the SO. Personally, I can't stand clingy women that want my undivided attention all the time when I'm around her.

People already miss their partner while working. You spend most of your waking hours away at work, exercising, etc. and the little time that you have together you want to completely shut them out of your life? Imagine gaming for 2 hours in the evening without interacting with your SO when you only have 3 free hours after work.

And nobody is talking about doing everything together - I know you're going to extremes and using words like clingy, attention, etc. because you're trying to prove a point.

I just feel like I need to see some more games, maybe play with it myself for a bit, or something first. I WANT to invest in it, but I'm holding out for more reviews and games to be announced.

Then...don't? Or, you know...don't do that every night? You're seriously telling me that you couldn't find a couple of hours a week to use a VR headset without ruining your relationship? You're making this out to be way more dramatic than it really is...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

If I only have 5 hours in a day as free time then half will go to personal time and the other half goes to SO. I cut into my sleep time for sex. Sometimes, I'll have no alone time and other times, the SO gets virtually no time from me that particular day. It's situational on what to spend time on any given day but It's far more healthy for any couples' relationship to spend quality alone time apart.

Yes...just not right away. I got burned on PS Move and as much as I like the concept of VR, i want ACTUAL games, not collections of minigames. Once those games start to release, i'll jump on it, discount or not. A good horror game would definitely make me insta buy it, though.

What you said, but I was smart enough to know what the PS Move was going to be.

I mean, sports champions was alright but then there was nothing. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm getting the same vibe but I really hope I'm wrong. Prove me wrong, Sony.

This, i feel we are going to get a bunch of minigames compilations that you play for a few hours with some friends and that's it.

I Love Playstation, but my uncle works at Nintendo.

I may be in, though I have to admit I'm more intrigued by the cinema viewer than the VR games. I have a digital projector, but it's really only worth using at night, and it's difficult to use surround sound when everyone else in my house is asleep.

$400 is quite a lot of dough, but as long as I sell my PS4 I should be able to afford it.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

i was already in before knowing the price. ace combat, drive club, gran turismo, eve valkyrie, no man's sky...... october can't come soon enough :)
