Forums - Gaming Discussion - The 6 Biggest PS4 and Xbox One Exclusive Letdowns to Date?

Watch dogs was a let down. Kinda boring. I knew what I was getting into with 1886. I thought it was fun but zero replay ability. Dead rising was kinda a let down for me, just overall repetitive as hell. Sunset overdrive is like a totally cool spin to dead rising style game.

No Sunset Overdrive? That was a massive letdown to me...

Shhh game was amazing!

Huh, no Wii U on this list? I guess that means all the exclusives on it are great. xD

Also, since I don't own either console, I can't say much on these games.

I disagree. I for one loved DriveClub since day 1. Aside from connection issues, the game was great from the get go. It featured not only stunning graphics, but a very good sense of speed and a solid gameplay that mixed arcade with simulation.

And as everyone knows, it only got better as time passed... tons of free content arrived later, some features were added and some tweaks made.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Ryse and The Order definitely belong on the list, I can see valid arguments for Street Fighter though I disagree, the rest though is highly preference based. Halo 5 has been by far my favourite Halo, the same for many of my friends as well and has supposedly has huge digital sales, though I understand some of the more hardcore fans didn't like it. Driveclub had a bad start but quickly improved, Titanfall was also hugely successful (though I personally didn't like it as I prefer a single player campaign).

Both PS4 and Xbox One were letdowns period as far as I'm concerned. I said this in another thread but it's worth mentioning again. Being an 80's kid, I have seen the entire current console industry grow from it's earliest mainstream success to it's currant state and never, ever... have I seen such a tiny infantile leap in innovation. Between the years of 1993 and 1996, I saw gaming go from Sonic 3 on Genesis to Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast. That's six years people. In the last six years, gaming has gone from Mass Effect 2 to Halo 5. Compared to the 90's, that's just absolutely embarrassing.

So for me? Both consoles have failed to live up to the standards that their predecessors set over the last 30 years and it's been one big letdown.

Titanfall? I thought that was a great game :P

This is the same website that posted the Worst 7 Female Stereotypes and it's clear that they didn't put much thought into this article either.

1. Most of those aren't exclusive.
2. Driveclub and Titanfall have no business being on that list.
