Hello this year we see the launch of 3 big VR head sets, this looks to be more intresting than the current console race we have.

PS VR. 

Has been backed to impress when it launches for PS4 later in 2016.

Although the exact launch date and pricing remain a Sony secret, it appears the new device will not disappoint fans with its performance.

Developer Alfonso del Cerro, the founder of Pentadimensional Games, revealed more about the tech behind the new headset, which will host the company's first VR title, Megaton Rainfall.

“I think PSVR will ship millions… Here in Spain I know a lot more people who own a PlayStation 4 than a high-end PC ready for VR,” he told WCCF Tech.

“Technically, what surprised me the most was the reprojection feature. It generates 120 frames per second, taking into account the movement of the head, even when the game fails to achieve 60 frames per second."

Which sell the most?

 I appolgise if this thread looks a bit thrown together as it is.

Some people say its a toss up between which was better, the then morpheus vs the occulus rift.
If Sony somehow make a almost as good device as the Oculus rift, but sell it for 300-349$, it wont be a "war", it ll be a slaughter.

True they get it for that price, otherwise it will like the first console gen.

i expect psvr will be in the $500 - $800 range.
it's not "cheap" tech, parts, hardware or anything.

120hz fullhd (or even higher?) display in 5' is expensive
optics will be as expensive as oculus and vive
the box will add some costs.
the mounting of the headset seems to be way more complex and expensive than the vive strap. so either similar to oculus, or lil more expensive
the only suff, that will be cheaper compared to the other 2 headsets will be the camera and move controller,

oculus will sell the most, because of the brand awareness, pricepoint, marketing and some exsluvie partnerships and games...

I say the cheapest one will sell the most. Which is the Sony one I believe. Either way, I'm really looking forward to VR and can't wait to see where it goes.
