NO ,the title greatest heroine would go to Quina Quen and what's even more awesome , since Quina is referenced as she and equips female armour but is called he ,that means Quina is also the greatest Hero.

Lightning was really boring. BA and tough throughout the entire game, not much change. Overall boring and rigid. Yuna however seems to change. She is sad, happy, mad, embarassed, etc...

When "She’s not overly-sexualized" and "She doesn’t need to be rescued" is on the list, I lose all interest.

Many of the reasons he wrote here could be said about many female carachters, which does a gigantic better job than her.Maybe the ideas behind her are not bad, but in the end, she is just a plain bad carachter

Even though she's not your typical game heroine my vote goes to Alyx Vance , she is smart , has a sense of humor . independent but not afraid to admit and overcome her weaknesses like admitting her deep seated dislike of Judith Mossman wasn't just about Mossmans actions but was also fueled by jealousy and then there was her fear stemming from her near death experience at the hands of a hunter combined with this she  comes across as Gordon's partner rather than an add on.
