Yuna deserves that spot more than Lightning.

I think you wrote "Rinoa" wrong.

You crazy bro! Yuna all the way!

Although Rinoa is still better than Lightning!

Wow Anfe, I bet you just don't like when a girl can be independent, but rather, Tidus' love object.

The best thing about the XIII saga.

However, I have to disagree with the notion that she's the best videogame heroine when Jill Valentine exists.

Infact, I'd place Lightning behind Jill, Bayonetta, Samus Aran, Lara Croft and FemShep.

Sorry, I don't agree (Ignore that thing on the right, though).

You got the wrong word there. Lightning is one of the best video game villains. Destroyed 20 years of history with a single game.

Lightning was very meh to me. I was more interested in the dynamic between Vanille and Fang during FFXIII. Fang is awesome, she's badass without even trying.

Signature goes here!

i agree

Lightning is probably 'the' most try-hard Final Fantasy protagonist. They spend a lot of time building her up to be amazing, yet nothing she does or says is convincing enough to make me think so. It just feels hollow to me.

I liked her a lot. She was complex and conflicted though she tried her best to ignore that in order to be a single-minded warrior. She was much more compelling than the empty and soulless Cloud, who still doesn't register for me as a "hero". The funny thing to me is that a lot of people who loved Cloud seem to hate Lightning, even though she is a much improved version of what he could have been. That will always puzzle me.

However, as a big fan of Tifa, isn't it the epitome of sexist to disregard her because she had large breasts? Everything about her was made to be different from Aeris, and vice versa, but feminists seem to want her to have the same body type. This 'war on breasts' can be kind of stupid.
