No I don't think so.

Sega was mostly dominant in Europe during the 90's and Europe nowadays is also called playstation land, so i'll let you do the math on that one.

I'm from the Sega fanbase and went for PlayStation. (though I'm not "demented" lol)
Pretty much everyone else I knew from the Sega side in the past also went for PlayStation.

Sega strong makers of the past, Europe and Brasil do alligned better with PlayStation.
Don't know if that's a sign of where Sega fanbase migrated to but it's also because of PlayStation WorldWide expansive brand approach.

I'm also ex-Sega turned Playstation... but I think he is talking about the demented that blame Sony for Sega leaving HW market and so align with MS.

Well, blaming Sony for being so good Sega couldn't keep up with them as have to call quits is a praise IMO.
They should have gone with Sony then XD

Like most people i know did. It kept the spirit of Sega, leaving the kid friendly image to Nintendo and catering to a more adult audience. I was a Sega fan and do tend to lean Sony now in terms of gaming preference, but i'm sure the fanbase is split a bit everywhere.

Hopefully Sega realize that this is a sign that they shouldn't develop mobile games.

Not everyone is capable of doing what is really best for themselves.
