NX in 2016 is as confirmed as possible without actually being confirmed.

Yeah, I really wonder what the hell the NX really is. I mean, it's almost guaranteed to be a home console, but they could take it so many ways. Will it be what the Wii was to the GC? Being a rearranged Wii U essentially? Will they go traditional like PS/XB (I doubt), or will they do something completely different? That's one thing I do love about Nintendo, they always keep you guessing XD

the Home Console part of NX HAS TO release this year, otherwise they wouldn't reduce the Wii U sales while keeping the same the 3DS ones...

If Sony can continue making the VITA, Nintendo can continue making the WiiU. Just my opinion.

Considering WiiU sales are going to plummet once the NX enters the market (hell, just announcing the NX is going to hurt sales a lot), I'm not surprised they want to end with a huge stock.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Maybe Nintendo is preparing big shipments for NX right now.
This would explain the low Wii U shipments. It is going to be replaced this year.

It was restocked last saturday according to hiska-kun.

Supply chain newsletters have been saying NX is hot for 2nd half this year.

Also take into consideration that IBM and chip-manufacturers are getting out of the PowerPC manufacturing chip business. Nintendo's hand may have very well been forced to develop new hardware as larger forces of industry at their current economies of scale simply can't supply the tech of WiiU at an affordable price anymore.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I´m pretty sure Renesas is making the Wii U CPU, not IBM.

NX doesn't have parts.

I hope they are cutting the price, it makes sense.

It was doing decently in Japan so it makes little sense to end it so soon.

It was only doing decently if you believed the people who said that the PS4 is doing great.

Bingo.

it's not confirmet wether it's a home console, a handheld or a hybrid, but if it's the latter one you can bet that you'll be able to buy the home console and the handheld controller separately...
