I'm rating/basing all of what I say on my preferences. From a bystander standpoint or someone really into Nintendo franchises this is easily a 5 or 6 out of 10. I used to like Monster Hunter back on the PSP/PS2 but no longer have an interest in the series. For those who like the series I'm sure its amazing news (its on Wii U, right? I skipped that part) if it is then its great to see it on home console again. But yeah, I dont know. I own 3 MH games and really feel meh about the series. 

Honestly, I begrudgingly play new MH titles. I love Monster Hunter, but this tactic Capcom has been playing of "Move the game down the list in power so we don't have to update the graphics" is getting old. It's been a PS2 game for over ten years.

Metroid Federation Force looks kinda interesting to me. Whole story mode in co-op might be good. Is this game New 3ds exclusive? I can't imagine control scheme for regular 3ds without c-stick.

Paper Mario U looks gorgeous visually, almost orgasmic. Didn't play Sticker Star, all the hate passed me.

Did they confirmed local co-op scheme for full Star Fox 0 company? It's the only good thing about the game. If so, I'll considered to get this in April.

I can't believe Nintendo keep original voices in Sessions Mirage Tokyo #FE. Nintendo made right decision. Nintendo. Right decision. Wow. Unbelievable.

Glad to see Super Mario Maker updates. Overall it was surprisingly good direct. Too bad still no Zelda U news.

It's not an overreaction, it's my opinion. You don't have to like it, I'm just a random person on the internet. It'd be great if I did a reaction though, I didn't feel anything towards it. It was boring and had nothing that I wanted besides the 2 things I mentioned earlier -with the latter half being delayed it seems. I wasn't expecting anything which is why my expectations were at 1 and stayed at 1. I don't care for 99% of the mentioned franchises so for me it'd be a 1/10. Maybe for you it was the best Direct that has ever happened ever, but for me I didn't care for it at all.

Are the graphics still PS2 level? o~o Personally, part of why I quit the series was how clunky the games felt, perhaps they improved on it nowadays but the menus and how stuff was explained in older MH titles felt so clunky that it really turned me off from the series. I think the series needs a serious overhaul, if it did I'd definitely give the series another go.

8/10. Lost Reavers looked fun, albeit low budget. I liked the Star Fox news and the Star Fox Guard news. New Paper Mario looks great -- love the art style. Metroid Prime: Federation Force actually looks fun, even though I know people are quick to bash it. Kirby also looks fun, though I dislike the Amiibo implementation.

On the other hand, I found the whole excuse about why they didn't have dubs for SMT x FE to be pretty easy to see through. Atlus USA makes good localizations, even of games that are based entirely in Japan. It was painfully obvious that A) they didn't expect too many people to buy it, so they didn't want to waste money on voice actors or b) Atlus USA was too busy to localize it at that time.

But still, overall, good Direct. Was hoping for some Pokémon news, but I was left satisfied.

The games always felt great to me, I guess I overcame that "clunkiness". I do know what you're talking about, though- it's very awkward compared to traditional games.

Improvements are minimal (mostly only benefitting from higher resolutions). While I'm appreciative that they put function over form, I'm upset that they've completely ignored form for over a decade.
