No PSVR on Amazon yet?

It still says 'currently unavailable' but I read it somewhere they were startiing pre-orders today.

I just hope I'm free to preorder one before they sell out.

You'll have to be quick, GAF is ready to pounce.

Looks like XBO is doing a bit better than before... still bad, since is still way under PS4. It's something at least...

It is just a front load because of the current sale, which includes 3 FREE games at 300 bucks.

I cant imagine what Microsoft will do on the next months to keep things going. Are they going to lower the price even more?

I said this by a long time ago.

XB1 is just starting to saturate the market, that is. People who wanna buy an XB1 for $349 already have the console, and a $299 pricedrop won't change much, since there are already a lot of promotions since last year, and hell, even back in 2014...

MS need to release a XBO slim. This will help the XBO and get a momentum, but then again... it's gonna be a temporaney boost.

By second half of 2017, XB1 is gonna sell like crap. MS should release a new XBOX in 2018, imo.

They're doing another of the "retailer discount" sales starting on Sunday the 20th, it looks like, in which every bundle is $50 off. Gamestop has it scheduled until the end of April, though I doubt they'd actually raise the price again. So the Quantum Break bundle might sell at $299 and all the 1 tb consoles will sell at $349. It's effectively a price cut, the same way it was in October 2014. Kind of weird that no one is talking about it yet, but it will be interesting to see if it has a similar boost effect as the first "promotional" offer or if all the sales at $299 already will nullify it a bit.

Since Amazon is already selling the Gears system for $299, though, maybe you're right and they'll lower the price even more, ha.

You think MS is worried about Quantum break sales? I mean I think I would be, if less than 20days to release and its that far down the ladder on amazon.

QB is still behind Ratchet & Clank though, at GameStop, Amazon, and BestBuy. Not sure how strong R&C pre-orders are, but i'd say QB intially isn't going to make waves sales wise.

First month NPDs of new IPs published by Sony and Microsoft that don't have multiplayer:

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - 117k

Infamous - 175k

Heavy Rain - 219k

Alan Wake - 145k

The Order 1886 - 200k

Until Dawn - 90k

I tried to keep within the Action adventure/adventure Genre.  Note -Infamous is open world, the rest are linear.

First party new IPs that have only a small element of multi player(mainly coop):

Two Human - 169k

Beyond Two Souls - 120k

Sunset Overdrive - 110k

It's hard to know exactly what Microsoft expects, but the above should give a baseline on what to expect.  THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR QUANTUM BREAK WILL BE WORD OF MOUTH, AND REVIEWS!!  Look above, The Order 1886 is one of the highest sellers here, but it completely flamed out (selling only 150k over the next 10 months), and the prospects for a sequal are slim to none.  Meanwhile, the lowest seller here, Until Dawn, came out of August with amazing word of mouth, its sales were excelent post launch (240k in 4 months), and chances for a sequal are high.

15 Hours since last update:

#10 PS4 Black Ops 3 Bundle (up 2)
#15 PS4 Camera (up 2)
#33 XB1 Gears Bundle (up 2)
#95 XB1 Elite Bundle (up 3)

#07 No Man's Sky LE

At this point I think even if the XB1 was $250 (with a game) all it would accomplish is to reduce the amount the PS4 is outselling it.

They should officially drop to $300 + brand new AAA game. Just putting out a statement will sell consoles. Currently the XB1's price isn't even being shown because Amazon is selling the thing under Microsoft's MSRP. And then this Holiday season they should have the XB1 Slim for $250 + new AAA game.
