This is the best thing to happen to Call of Duty in a long time.

Ever since MW2 I have wanted the option to pay less and simply get the multiplayer component of Call of Duty as that's all I ever play.

Never since COD4 have I enjoyed the campaigns, and I never enjoyed the spec ops or zombie modes.

I love that we finally have the option to just buy the barebones multiplayer for $15.

Don't you guys/girls think that this is a real step forward for AAA gaming?

Would be a good idea if you would actually get the full MP. But from what I heard, there are a lot of things missing like Prestige and stuff and overall it seems like it's more of a paid demo.

I just bought it and I'm pretty sure Prestige is the only thing that's really missing. It really doesn't seem that important to a casual COD player like myself.

Feels like way more than a modern demo. Unless you're talking about old shareware demos that gave you the best part of the game for free (Duke Nukem 3D, Doom etc)

It's good for the people that only buy Call of Duty for the multiplayer I guess.

I'm still really surprised at the amount of people (in my friends list at least) that don't even tough the campaign.

Yeah, I think it's a pretty cool idea too but would prefer if it was the full multiplayer, even if it meant charging a little extra, that would have been cool, think they should do the same with zombies, I've not played the single player part of CoD since black ops so I'm not really bothered about the campaign. I think a lot more games should do this, it's se with battlefield, not played the campaign since bad company 2.
