You are making predictions when we already have everything on the Table, and just seems to get better for who want to get it for free, because on the future they will add much more ways to get In-game Money.

This is also a game with a season pass. Maybe a year from now it will be SFV GOTY Edition with Season Pass. Capcom will look for an excuse to sell this game at a higher price down the road, just wait.

This still isn't another Version of the game, is just a "Lazy Edition" for someone that don't want to go and purchase each DLC, 1 by 1, every game make this, Dark Souls made this, Life is Strange, BloodBorne, Dragon Age Inquisition, Far cry 4, but still being the same game.

Again, you're arguinging semanics.

I'm arguing SFV will have something different at retail that also increases the price. That way people don't just buy the $10 version in the used bin. That's what I've been saying all along but you keep arguing otherwise.

And why do this matter ?, is just a Disk that you can get every DLC, that Already is on the Original version, and that you can get for free, so is not other version of the game, Tekken 5, and Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection, was 2 Different versions, not Street Fighter V  (without Free DLC), and Street Fighter V (with Free Dlc).

If Capcom decided to release a non-mandatory, 2017 version of Street Fighter V that included all of the content released thus far (content that was obtainable through in-game currency), I would not care. I would only be concerned if Capcom released a paid, mandatory update to the game, because that would run counter with how they've marketed this title (they have stated that purchasing the base game is all that you need, since updates will be free).

Re-releasing the game with all of the released content a year from now will make it easier for new players to get started, without penalizing people who've purchased the game at launch.

It clearly matters to you a lot because you keep arguing with me. :-p

Go look at all my previous post. I flat out said it will probably get a version with stuff unlocked down the road so they can sell it at a higher price. That's what they are doing instead of making new versions like Super and Ultra. They are going to push microtransactions, a GOTY version will include the microtransactions.

I'm not betting on Capcom making another version but, throughout history, "exclusive" titles have gone multi-plat. This includes titles from Capcom that they publicly stated weren't going to other consoles. Imagine how I felt when I saw Genesis gamers getting a version of Street Fighter II or PlayStation gamers getting Resident Evil 4 or Mass Effect 1!

I'm getting this game on PS4 but, when it comes to "exclusivity", stranger things have happened.

I think Capcom squashed any doubt about this coming to Xbox, NX, etc. Sony paid Capcom to keep this game away from the competitors but allowed PC.

However, I don't think SF the IP will stay console exclusive.

Capcom's only game that went Multiplataform was Resident Evil 4, i don't know the history, but this is just a exception, they will not make other version of the game for other plataform.

When there was only Sega, and Nintendo, Nintendo, had policys  like this "If anyone release a game on my console, cannot release on other console" because of that Sega's consoles did not received Third Party support, from a lot of companies that would make a lot of Franchises Third Party.

  • Viewtiful Joe: Gamecube Exclusive went to PS2
  • Killer 7: Gamecube Exclusive went to PS2
  • Lost Planet:  Xbox 360 Exclusive went to PS3
  • Dead Rising 1: Xbox 360 Exclusive went to Wii (as Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop)
  • Street Fighter II Turbo:  Super NES exclusive.  Genesis was supposed to get Street FIghter II Champion Edition but got an upgraded "Special Champion Edition" with all of the content of the Super NES game

Not saying SFV WILL go multiplat. Games like Splinter Cell Conviction or MGS4 stayed exclusive. I'm just saying it happens.  Game companies change their plans to suit them.  We think we know because "Microsoft published Mass Effect so it can't go to another platform" but, time and time again, it's been proven that we don't know jack shit about how things work.

In other news, I just bought SFV.

This is what everyone do, the In-game money is easy to get, the Companies just release a Ultra Goddess version, with every DLC, for they be able to charge Full price for the Disc, because the old version already lost the value, you can get on Day 1, on Street Fighter Single Player, the same that you would get, paying 15-18US$, i think that this model is pretty fair for someone that Spend Time, but not Money on the game.

Capcom said that is SFV is exclusive. Not the series as a whole. I'm sure the next SF will definitely be multiplat.

Okay, so stop arguing. You agree with me.

Capcom said they werent going to make multiple versions that split the audience, which is awesome. But they are going to push microtransactions which is a different kind of nuisance.

There will be a new retail release that includes microtransactions. Thats my prediction and you agree.
