No need for "now now". You copied it enought times. I thought if I stopped using it, maybe you'd come up with something of your own ;)
Also:
"That was only in Europe " is misinformation.
Not really. "That" referred to the price that Nem posted. Only in Europe it cost 38€. Not in America or Japan or anywhere else. I made a comparison only between America and Europe. Nowhere did I say anything about Japan or the rest of the world. You decided to misinterpret my statement for it to fit your narrative.
Also, keep in mind that when someone mentions that a game costs x amount, they don't tend to state how much it costs in USD, British Pounds, Euros, yen, yuan etc. One currency is enough. So, Nem's statement gives the impression that it was similarly priced across the board (i.e. lower than normal), unlike Street Fighter. He didn't mention that that was the price in Europe. He made a general statement.I clarified that with a link to the launch price in America.
I didn't try to downplay anything. If anything, you did by pretending like America is not wiiu's biggest market with almost half of its sales coming from there. Same with Splatoon. It's sold best in America where it cost the most.
As for the link that you provided, I did read what you said and for that I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Darn well you got me there. I had several things but nothing that fits.
I almost gave you this point, but the problem here lies with what you said: "Only in Europe it cost 38€. Not in America or Japan or anywhere else. I made a comparison only between America and Europe. Nowhere did I say anything about Japan or the rest of the world." Whilst you can say Nem's original statement gives the interpretation that its 38€, which is why I almost gave you this point, your orignal remark to him doesn't clarify that its only in Europe. All it does is designate that the U.S. version is priced at standard full retail and state that what Nem said is misnformation. This just as easily leaves room for misinterpretation that Nem is wrong and its only priced at full price retail. If you really wanted to clarify any misinformation, you could have just as easily said, "That's only in Europe, different regions have different price points."
You have a point about Nem making a generalized statement, can't argue that.
I never pretended that anything, nor did I imply that America isn't the Wii U's biggest market. I did however make an error that no longer properly clarifies this. I sometimes have poor choice of words. ("Espcially since the their lack of content/ free updates are not only allegedly the same, but the regions in which will buy their [systems] are pretty much in the same condition?") There I meant to write games instead of systems (obviously the PS4 is more than A-ok), which at that point quite clearly implies that I recognize that Europe isn't a key point in sales. What is also there, and quite clearly, is the reason I bring up the Europe market downplay: if your justification of the reduced price of Splatoon in Europe is the lower Wii U systems sales and thus proportionally their games, then is there no reference to the fact that Street Fighter among other fighting games sells significantly better than Europe and Japn as well and why is there point that it should be reduced price in those regions granted my previous comparison of Splatoon and SFV? Unless there is a signficant reason why, then there is no real justification in the Europe sales/reduced price point, if it doesn't work both ways.
*EDIT just saw your last post after posting afterwriting all this
