Nope. That ain't happening. As far as X1 and NX getting the game. Sony helped pay for this game to be developed. I'm sure there are stipulations in that contract to negate any rendition of this particular numbered game going elsewhere but PS4/PC. Besides, Capcom has stated numerous times that SFV will be the only game you will ever need. They are going to add DLC to just this game. No super/hyper/mega/turbo/deluxe edition is coming for this "numbered" series.

Those are all pronouncements made with the assumption that SFV would sell 2 million units by end of March 2016. It clearly won't. This is an outcome that's just as bad for Sony as it is for Capcom.

End of the day - Capcom will buy the rights back. And Sony will let them do that as it's now clear that SF exclusivity means zilch long-term.

How do you know that Street Fightter, will not sell 2 Millions of units until the end of march ?, is a fighting game that will have support for atleast the next 5-6 Years, so will have good legs, the only numbers that we have is from UK, (i think that the owner of the post said 23 Thousands), and from Japan, that is 43 Thousands, if the game sold 500 Thousands Worldwide First Week, will only need to sell 300 Thousands per week Worldwide, to sell 2 Millions until the end of March, do you think that this is too hard for a Street Fighter Game ?.

If you ignore constant reports of Capcom being at risk of being bought by another company , Capcoom's well reported fianacial troubles, and a developer saying he doesn't have the funds to make SFV, then I guess you can believe whatever you want.

That was all an exageration and they always had numerous games in development. They have been working on several RE games, they published Life is Strange, Monster Hunter is printing money, and they even released a few remasters.

SFV went exclusive because Sony offered a fuck ton of money. They paid so much that even MS said no thanks.

Monster Hunter, is a Hendheld game, so does not cost much to do, all they did not have released games from Several franchises, like Megaman, Devil May Cry (the last was not a Sucess), the Only game that they have that sell well Worldwide (with exception of Megaman, and Street Fighter), is Resident Evil, that since 2012, don't Release a Main Entry, and does not seems that will release so soon, they only made a Episodic game, that is Revelations, and will make a MMORPG-LIke, that is Umbrella Corps.

Life is Strange, is published by Square Enix.

Out-side Monster hunter, that is a Handheld and a Japan Exclusive, where is Capcom's Main Games ?, they  had so little money, that they made Multiple versions of the Same game, now they will not release a new version of Street Fighter V, and we will see a true Support for it.

Street Fighter V'S Deal, is the same kind of Deal that Microsoft, made with Capcom, for Dead Rising 3.

Yes, Smash is number 1.

Smash is not a fighting game.

I guess it's not a fighting game even though two smash games are in EVO 2016, the biggest premier fighting game tournament.

If you could stop stating things as if they were facts, that would be great. You keep making up things and act like it's what happened. It's getting quite annoying, really.

Let me get this straight: There is actually the belief that Capcom didn't have the funds to make Street Fighter V on their own? The sequel to an IP that sold millions of copies last generation?

Yes, Rol. You got that right.

as of right now with the state the game is in and low sales that we have so far. I'd say its bombed thus far

No more capcom fighting games all so the games media could take a çheap shot at sony wjen they have another major exclusive in a few weeks along with r&c and gravity rush. It all seems rather pathetic of the gaming press. Oh well.

It's a conspiracy!

I fully expect a "Turbo" edition next year on PS4, PC, X1, and NX -- as well as an arcade release.

Nope. That ain't happening. As far as X1 and NX getting the game. Sony helped pay for this game to be developed. Talking about money well spent? I mean, when you consider the current content of the game, one might wonder how exactly Sony's money was worth it, how much they actually spent and what would have been possible for Capcom without Sony's money.

http://gematsu.com/2016/02/media-create-sales-21516-22116

So it sold 41,990 units in Japan.

GAF:
"For reference, IV sold about 124,000 copies in its launch in February '09.

01. [NDS] Mario & Luigi RPG 3 (Nintendo) 193,000 / NEW
02. [PS3] Street Fighter IV (Capcom) 86,000 / NEW
03. [PSP] Kidou Senshi Gundam: Giren no Yabou (Namco Bandai) 40,000 / NEW
04. [PS2] Kidou Senshi Gundam: Giren no Yabou (Namco Bandai) 38,000 / NEW
05. [360] Street Fighter IV (Capcom) 38,000 / NEW "

I know, legs and all that, but it really sounds like it bombed currently.

You seem sure of yourself that all of these event will happen. Remember that Sony doesn't own SF. However, there are contracts that prevents Capcom from making this specific numbered series from going any where else outside of PS4/PC. Capcom can't buy their way out of that. They are stretched thin as it is.
