Did Street Fighter V bomb?

Yes 391 60.43%

No 256 39.57%

Total:647

Yes, the numbers are appearing and it is bombing hard right now.
Here in Brasil the game is not selling that good, i can tell you.
Like when BO3 was launched, the minute it was available and i got my copy, there was like like 6 people on the same store with me to get it. SFV i have see only 3 guys buying it here the last 2 days.
Whe live in a era where we are surrounded by information, the minute the game came out and people see it was a lot incomplete, the bad news travelled fast, and Capcom just make a bad decision, again!

Nintendo is the reason there isn't a Nintendo Vs. Capcom. Capcom would've done it 10 years ago.

For Nintendo there's not much benefit though, and it kinda screws with the mainline Smash series.

You weren't gaming in the early 90's like I was. MK, SF2 and MK2 were as big as any GTA game back then. That's what I meant by "not as big as they were in the early 90's".

I didn't mean it like that. 90s fighting genre was huge. It heavily declined especially last gen. That said it didn't decline from last gen to this gen. That's what I'm talking about.

You don't think so? It sure seems like it to me. I could be wrong though as I haven't really paid much attention. I use to play fighting games like crazy in the 90's and have just now started to get into them again.

You genuinely believe Capcom needed Sony to make a new release of their mega popular IP?

I personally don't believe Capcom needed Sony to release an incomplete game.

If you ignore constant reports of Capcom being at risk of being bought by another company , Capcoom's well reported fianacial troubles, and a developer saying he doesn't have the funds to make SFV, then I guess you can believe whatever you want.

That was all an exageration and they always had numerous games in development. They have been working on several RE games, they published Life is Strange, Monster Hunter is printing money, and they even released a few remasters.

SFV went exclusive because Sony offered a fuck ton of money. They paid so much that even MS said no thanks.

I know Nintendo is the reason. Yes there is benefit, and no it doesn't screw with Smash.

Funny part about people going cray over the Butt slap removal is the fact that on PC it got modded back in lol.

(It also got covered on multiple gaming sites but it seems to have escaped a publish on VGC).

https://www.reddit.com/r/Kappa/comments/463z2s/street_fighter_v_rmika_buttslap_fix_mod/

Well the slap is still there, just the camera doesn't pan down to where it's on screen (lazy fuck capcom) still tho, there is no mod on consoles or PC to make the camera pan down to an actual complete functional game sadly.

I guess maybe Capcom are going ultra careful since the release of Street Fighter X Tekken got some much negative PR when people found out that not only was the game completely on the disk but also the disc included I think it was 19 fully functional dlc characters all locked on the disc, could this be a capcommy way of getting back at people who complained at the over finished product on the disc lol.

The mod seen here that I originally linked, shows the entire package being returned (on PC via a mod).

That to me looks like the full package that was originally once there, like entirely.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

If you could stop stating things as if they were facts, that would be great. You keep making up things and act like it's what happened. It's getting quite annoying, really.

SFV still has a strong EVO presence on deck. New content should help it leg out -but let's not fool ourselves: the launch has fallen way short of expectations for Capcom.

As I understand it, Sony offered the $ for exclusive marketing. However the primary reason for the exclusivity was that Sony at the time were the only ones really open to PC cross-play. MS and Ninty have since had a major change in tone.

I fully expect a "Turbo" edition next year on PS4, PC, X1, and NX -- as well as an arcade release.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Look at it again, the move should end with both girls doing a Stone Cold Stunner esque move to the ankle of the victim of the move which should end in them hitting their head off the ground and having their legs completely split open, this mod moves the camera like I said, but it doesn't change the end pose of the victim, they're still just in a generic stunned pose.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1NrENvIvPo watch the end of the original move, not the slap portion, it's still wrong in what you linked, it almost doesn't make sense what the other girl is there for at the end of the move, R.Mika could just as easily throw the victim against a wall and slam into that, now the butt of the other girl is just to soften the blow it seems.

So is this just what you think or you actually have proof of this? Cause what we do have proof of is that Capcom not being able to make this game.
