Xenosaga can be thought of as a partial reimagining of Xenogears:Episode 1, by some. There are similarities in their timelines. I am sure if Takahashi got to make Xenogears:Episode 1 it would probably be a lot like Xenosaga. And Xenosaga: Episode 4-6 might've been a lot like Xenogears: Episode 2 - 5, but we don't know how either scenario would be. Xenoblade is not seemingly connected to either universe, and the first Xenoblade seemed to intentionally be a standalone game. Xenoblade Chronicles X is not connected to any of them either for all we know, but it is obviously designed to have a sequel or multiple sequels, and with Nintendo's continual support Takahashi might finally have the resources to make a complete epic which doesn't get cutoff midway.

You and this list is exactly the reason we don't get any sequels made , see jrpg producers are like this thread , they only want to know  what's the one Jrpg game you want a sequel to.

The reason for this is they all failed juggling at  clown school and can't do more than one thing at a time , so when they see this on VGC and they will because they like to hang out with us clowns , it will only confuse them and they will run around in circles shouting  ,to many great games , where to start , where to start , aargh!.

So when this leads to the great 2016 jrpg delay scandal we will know who to hit with our rubber mallets.

I couldn't help it....there were SO manyg reat games they just let.....die in order to make....well some crap lol. The need to give us these games ASAP and add in Eternal Darkness and Shadow Hearts lol.

My runners up- Suikoden, Drakengard (would be higher but we got 3 recently), Shadow Hearts, Grandia, Radiant Historia, Dark Cloud, White Knight Chronicles, Rogue Galaxy, and Skies of Arcadia.
