Which NX version? We don't if the game will come to NX?
And why do you conclude that the NX won't have support for a touchscreen controller? Who on earth ever said that NX won't have a touchscreen controller?

Even the 360 is still (was?) getting new games/MS's games. Why can't Nintendo? Also, Nintendo is under new direction (btw he said the support would continues after NX's release). Who knows. the fact YOU do not want it, doens't meam this is the truth. |
When did I say I want WiiU support to drop? Nintendo has a very bad track record of supporting systems once the next one is released. I think only the handhelds get somewhat important releases once its successor is in the market. And considering the WiiU has a very small userbase, that kind of post-generation support seems less possible.

Actually it probably is possible, with Nintendo consoles at least, I can't imagine a game being better on ps3 than ps4, or 360 than xbo, but the power difference between the WiiU and NX probably isn't going to be as big... well really this thread just seems a little premature without knowing anything about the NX, the main advantage of the WiiU is gamepad features, the NX verison presumably better graphics, but the NX might support the gamepad too, who knows. |
many multiplayer games (like call of duty ghost) where better on ps3 scince you didnt needed ps+ to play them and graphics was almost the same.
also rodea the sky soldier is better on wii as well.
I would get the Wii U version because I don't want to buy the NX to play this game... but the NX version would be better

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
This is why people are pissy about NX threads.
Darwinianevolution said: I think they will be equally good because they will be the same version. Nintendo has no time to tinker and play with the extra features of the NX, or else they will release it in 2017. It will be a solid port of the WiiU version. Didn't both versions of Twilight Princess play and look the same, the only difference being the motion controlls and Link's dominant hand? |
Yeah. If the Wii version allowed the classic controller. And the ability to swap the the world back to the normal way. It be identical to the GC version. Exception of Widescreen. Which the GC could of done. Both are equal in capabitlies.
Also, the NX will keep dual screens. Keep dreaming, though.
NX version will for sure be the visually definitive way to play Zelda U but the real question is whether the enhanced visuals will be enough to compel Wii U gamers to purchase a new console over settling for the Wii U version. I think that the Wii U version will still look pretty sweet at 720p. I think that Nintendo will be decent enough to Wii U fans not to give us a severely gimped version of the game and I think it would be even cooler if they hid some exclusive content (like a bonus dungeon or two) as an easter egg on the Wii U version to acknowledge the fact that we were denied a truly exclusive Zelda title.
I don't know why we would assume that the NX won't have some sort of second screen like the Wii U does. Maybe not a tablet controller per se like the GamePad, but I think it will have a screen on the controller.
How about we wait until the damn console is announced and we know what type of console it will be and what type of controller it will have before we ask this question! -_-
