Forums - Sports Discussion - KD VS LeBron

KD or LeBron?

Kevin Durant 11 52.38%

LeBron 10 47.62%

Total:21

Who do you like more?

I think LeBron is the better leader. He sets up more plays for his teammates compared to KD. Though, it's not surprising. The Cavs are their own mini all-star team, jam packed with elite players. The Thunder have Ibaka, westbrook, and KD as the only players that average double figure points and can be considered an A-rated player.

Personally, they're both fun to watch. Only thing I have to say is that sometimes LeBron's complaining can get annoying;

I'm liking this NBA discussions, as for the topic I have more fun watching KD because he takes over games (even with Westbrook on the court) whereas Lebron has the mentality of "if I see someone wide-open I'll pass him the ball". However as an overall player I have to pick Lebron.

Lebron is undoubtedly the better player, but I like KD more probably because he's a better scorer and more exciting to watch.

They're around the same level in terms of ability, Durant is a better scorer, LeBron the better passer.
What puts LeBron above Durant for me is LeBron can lead his team and has more hardware, accomplishments, and accolades. He's got the experience and the leadership that Durant had yet to show me.

I think Carmelo Anthony is the best

If KD is unsatisfied with Oklahoma and leaves(small chance), he can find a good team to finally be able to become a passer and leader.

The only team that seems to have a real shot of getting him based on winning is Golden State and I definitely don't want to see that.

There's also a chance though that he'll resign for a one year contract with a player option so that he'll be a free agent when Westbrook is so that they both can decide where to play.

if Kd and westbrook both left, where do you think they'd go? What teams would be best for them?

Whatever big market team has the pieces and cap space to sign both of them. So the Lakers, Knicks, Celtics, or Heat would all be possibilities. Westbrook seems like a big market type of player to me personally. He was born in California and fashion is important to him. KD I think just wants to win championships and will go whereever he is given the best opportunity to win with Westbrook.
