Division is clearly a crap game because of this. And also the fact that the game got sliced into pieces to sell as dlc. Disgusting

i am always for options

You posted the wrong screen shot there mate but I agree somewhat that the Division has quite a bit of clutter on screen at times having played the beta.

If Bloodborne was like this, then it's would've been annoyed. ;P

LOL at the Ubi-Bloodborne pic. Not gonna lie, a middle ground between UbiSoft's "endless handholding" and FromSoft's "explaining anything is for pussies" would be ideal.

I don't get why so many people found it hard to understand why the OP used an image of Bloodborne to illustrate a point. If you've played BB, you'd know it doesn't look like that. Even if you haven't it's a well know game for its difficulty and for not holding your hand.

Well..... The only Ubisoft games I have played is:
- Just dance series
- One of the Rayman legends games
- Some of the Rabbits games

And I would dis agree with what you said, but those are "cartoony" games.

Pocky Lover Boy!

I wouldn't necessarily say all Ubisoft games are like that. Far Cry certainly has very little UI.

Where are your other examples? Why do people have to look them up to see if you're right? I don't remember Far Cry having any kind of HUD overkill. What are these other Ubisoft games that are worse than what other developers are doing?

How much of that overlay is optional? Lots of games allow you to turn many HUD elements on and off.

Bloodborne and The Division are different types of games. Why not chose something similar, perhaps something closer to an MMO design?

Seriously, I wish people would put more work into threads like this.

I wish people would put more work into reading the OP. Like I said, I feel Far Cry has too much stuff in the world map and menus. Other examples are Assassins Creed and Watch Dogs. There, multiple big AAA games in multiple big AAA franchises. I urge you to stop pretending like there is no pattern and certain "busyness" to those games. The Division is not an MMO, the best comparison would be Destiny and that game has godlike minimalistic and clean UI.
