What is an inferior VR experience.... You dont know how above and beyond the other two have gone...

You could buy all three VR products, use it and then complain they are all inferior... thats the problem with VR right now... it's early days, but I dont think people on the street want to pay $700 for one.

Yes it could happen that all big 3 are considered inferior to expectations but the cheapest, most compromised product has also the biggest chance of becoming "useless" in the next few years when VR-software really starts to evolve. Personally I think quality VR and mass adoption can't be done financially yet, the tech is too expensive.

You say that but very little negatives have come out about all three of the VR systems except for price..So perhaps its expectations. The PSVR has been played by many people at game shows for the last 12 months, I've yet to come across anything but positivity... of course we dont know the price yet, but I think people are just looking for VR experiences, and if PSVR is cheaper and even if its not as good technically, I think for the first round of tech people will be happy with that, because nothing else has come out before it...

Well, I guess Sony can announce a $299 price at E3 and win the VR market before they even launch. Kinda like they did at E3 2013. They should also have a VR PS4 Bundle for $599. That would really drive the price point home, since that's the price of the Oculus Rift by itself.

I hope Sony sees the opportunity that has been laid before them. This can be one of those momentum builders, exactly the kind of product/attention they could use in spades. Please Sony, don't fuck this up

not vastly more expensive than oculus. i'd buy the vive if i would game on pc. very curious when playstation vr will launch.

At E3? I expect a price and a release date at GDC. Sony continues to say that PSVR will be out H1 of this year.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

^ so much this.

If your goal is to be dead upon arrival....well, you're doing the right things.

Well it's definitely aimed for the enthusiast market, that's for sure. Can't say Valve were aiming for the console crowd if at all with such a setup. Tech is new and expensive along with them having no special buddies or out of this world deals made with those that produce each component. I'd rather tech go for the high end than the lowest common denominator.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Of course the first impressions are mostly positive now, it's easy to acquire since there is not much comparison to be made. All a VR product really needs now is functionality to impress but how about after 2-3 years? Can PSVR keep up if it's lower spec? What if real killer-app software comes up which the PSVR is not capable of running because of the lower specs and/or limited functionality, it's possible right? I'm just saying all these people asking for lower price are asking a compromise...you know there are already cheap VR options like Samsung Gear but then people say it's not good enough, yet people ask a cheap option from Sony but act like quality won't take a hit.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I better be getting a mid range PC included for that price. Damn.

bet: lost
