Now, I'm sure most of you know already but I'm a huge Sony fanboy. It goes beyond pure nostalgia and company allegiance, and into what kind of traits I respect in their organization...for playstation specifically.
Starting from the ps1, with the amazing demo cd containing tomba and that amazing gunship game, whatever that was, I've always felt like Sony just had such a good eye for quality titles. They've always been on the lookout throughout their market for new opportunities and cool ideas.
Some of the most innovative games I've ever played have been on ps. But I digress.
What's simply amazing to me is how they handled the kojima situation. Say what you want about kojima, but you have to admit that PT was so well marketed and distributed. Sony knows how to play into their fans tastes.
Anyway, it just blows me away how they picked up kojima, and now kojima is snapping pics and having meetings with the two major film players involved in the canceled silent hills.
This isn't to say that ps is better than competitors, but to me, Sony just handles gaming so well.
