Sorry, my phone puts links at the top. As you can see it is already sold out on amazon. There were 23 available at regular price two days ago. Now there is two available at 59.99. The rest are new from resellers.

I have not checked gamestop yet. But this second shipment did not last long. Digital will continue to sell and price reductions will come.

If the second batch sells that fast, there's hope it gets a third batch sooner or later, too.

I know I got really pissed here. This street had everything: invisible ninjas, flamethrowers, snipers, grenades, rocket launchers, shield protected machine gunners... you name it. And on top of that, because it ain't hard enough yet, you get some heavy a$$ chainsawers, axe wielders and four (!) heavy armored minigunners.

That supposed to be like this. Game itself literally telling you "They are hardcore!" in the start of this fight.

I felt that, too. It was the games' way of telling you that you're heading towards the end now. Like a big final test. It was annoying, but in a positive way, it kept me trying over and over again because I figured out strategies and patterns every time I had to retry.

A couple of weeks ago, I was playing online death matches. While we were waiting in the lobby, I asked them wether they wanted to play chicken mode, because I never did before, so we all switched there. And boy, that was pure and insane fun! Played it for a few rounds before I had to leave, but I'm definitley coming back for more!

Yes, that is exactly the spot that pissed me off.

Let's all be glad that we finally managed to get through this. :D

That was the only part of the game I hated.

You have to wonder how much better this game could have been if they just focused on multiplayer and cancelled the SP piece. There certainly would have been rancor over it's absence -- but the narrower focus could have made the multiplayer that much better all-around.

The terrible SP has done this game WAY more harm than good.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

For the bosses, There isn't any type of pattern to show me they were for the one shot kill, they just did that. And I got one shot kill on the boss first move once, no way there is a pattern in my opinion. None had any type of special sign. I'm sorry, but I don't buy it.

Jane Doe scream before her deadly attack and sliding into your direction. You can easily avoid the attack with dodging.

Isaac Kumano surrounded by flame before his charge attack. That's all I guess. I can't even remember other bosses "one shot kill" moves.

Eh. Might get it, eventually but it's not a priority. Too bad the single player is so rough. I don't play online very much.

Great review, btw!

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

So, you are blaming the game for you not being able to just wield your melee weapon... when there are several enemies with fucking guns in different places... at several tens of meters from you... In a FPS with some TPA mechanics to support the FPS mechanics (Itakagi confirmed this plenty of times).

...I see something absolutely wrong with your statement.

I agree with you that the game being too linear, in the online features and in the technical aspects. Aside from that, I completely disagree with you.

The game is difficult. That's it. Is not unfair, is not terribly designed... is difficult. There's only one time I really felt that I was playing something actually impossible (some place with snow and tons of heavy guys with miniguns). Aside from that, it was a challenging game, I died a lot of times, but all of them were my fault in some way.

The bosses are meant to be a one on one duel. They want you to use mainly your melee weapon. But even with this, your fire weapon still can make the difference. It does not make as much damage as it does against normal enemies, but if you use it when the boss is stunned or when your are on its back, you still can do some damage to it without getting yourself too close to him and putting yourself in danger. Of course, bosses have some distance attacks that will prevent you from overdoing this. But that's the thing: you must find the balance between hand to hand and distance combat. As for the on hit kill... if I recall right, almost all of them do not kill you instantly, but letting you with 1 hp. Also, I think they have a visual effect that allows you trying to dodge them. That's not unfair to me: just try to evade it, and if you can't. run and doge till you've recovered your health. Sure, sometimes you'll die trying to escape because of a bad doging... but that's a small mistake on our part, not on the game design.

As for the stoy, if you haven't understand that Ivan is in jail for terrorism (he was part of the terrorist gang that are now the leaders of SOD) and that he was caught because he regretted some things he did and he surrendered to authorities... then you pretty much have no right in calling the storyline weak. It's not a masterpiece, but neither a piece of shit. Is just as good as it need to make the campaing progress without being too silly.
