wow that's low considering IV got 93/94. I thought 90 was a lock.

Capcom can't fool me into buying an incomplete game.

I'll buy when everything for it is out at a decent price.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Metacritics opinion is for crap imo, Indies who cost 40€, lack content and are boring (most users agree) like the witness get 90%. Metacritic in general is very biased against Japanese games, Famitsu, 4gamer and other Japanese review sites arent allowed there.

Game seems incomplete to me. Even if I was into fighters, I sure as hell wouldn't pay 60 dollars for this. This whole add it in later mentality is getting old.

Mid to low 80s seems pretty good in it's current state, maybe a little too generous.

I was pumped up for the launch until I saw that they were probably intentionally shipping it with 25% of it's content set aside for DLC. Now, I'm pumped up for the full release down the line with 100% DLC included. That's when I'll pick it up.

Maybe they're rewarding games that feel fresh in a sea of "samey" software? Indie games, at least the good ones, have that going for them. There's alot more originality and freshness in those games than AAA right now.

Seems like a fair score. It looks like the game would have easily hit in the 90s if the all the expected content was there.

I guess it's fair to knock a few points for the incomplete solo mode but from what I'm reading (and what I've played in the beta) the core part of the game is very solid and in the end that's what counts for fighting games.

For example, Smash Bros is packed with content but I barely touched any of it and spent over 40 hours playing online and offline.

Signature goes here!

As a fighting game enthusiast, the most important aspect of the game that I'm hoping to see from reviews is solid game play mechanics, and so far, it looks like Street Fighter V has been scoring high in that regard. I can understand a little of the disappointment with a lack of content at launch, but at the same time, I appreciate that Capcom has listened to the criticism of numerous SF iterations in the past and decided to approach SF V as a single, constantly-updating game (i.e., no more Super, Turbo, Arcade Edition, etc.). I can forgive the lack of content at release as long as they stick to their plan of freely updating the game over the course of the generation.
