So basically an incoming shit storm.

MS better bring pc games to xb1 like they did with smite. If they continue to do so i have no problem with xbox games going to pc, but if they dont im gonna sell my xbox and save up for a pc while getting a ps4.

The more people can enjoy these games the better. People's main complaint about these moves are that they won't buy an Xbox One but clearly they never intended to buy one anyway and never cared for the state of the console. So if they buy the games through Win10 Store then I see only positives.

Forza is an excellent racer and the soon to be released FH3 is sure to lead the genre once again.

Generalizations like this are little better than the ones where people say stuff like this will kill Xbox.

I can see Forzas and Scalebound going
They'll probably still want to keep Gears 4, at least for a while (6-12 months)

They really do not want me to buy an Xbox do they?

Look at it this way, you either get a X1 and get these exclusives, or you upgrade to Windows 10 and purchase them from the Windows Store.  Either way as far as MS is concerned they get your money, get you to upgrade to their latest OS and you still say on their ecosystem which is XBL.  With that in mind, I believe MS want your money and you on Windows 10 more than they care if you purchase the X1 for their games.  In the long run, having you tied to XBL and widnows than if you purchase the X1 is there bigger goal.

People need to understand that MS is much bigger than the X1 and windows is their platform of choice.  If anything, MS is probably positioning themselves to deliver games on all of their platforms not just the X1.  In their mind, the delivery point is the MS store, and XBL is the service.  Whatever device you use to play their games and use their service really isn't their focus anymore.

why should the ones who would had never bought x1 complain? shouldnt those - me for example - rather rejoice and be glad that x1 is going down? more space for the competition. more win for sony (and maybe even nintendo)? more unique games and new IPs?

but thats actually not the truth. because i considered buying a xbox720... till may 2013. and microsoft are doing their best not to reconsider.

Bolded: Good question!

First you can't call the console by it's name...  but tell me what happened in 2013 that prevented you from getting the console that they are still doing now or are worst and that MS refuse to reconsider?

People buying a console for only one game I don't believe that anymore. If they plan on getting that one game it most probably because there are some others that interest them otherwise, why not just rent it? Or borrow it from a friend? If you don't want anything else then don't get it.

Also I should've wrote imo on my first post. There will always be exceptions I know but imo that's a mute argument. Suddenly so many people care for the state of Xbox and were planning on getting one... sorry but I don't believe that.

Moot,  not mute. Moo is also accepted. "Yeah, it's like a cow's opinion. It just doesn't matter. It's moo.".

So the basis for your belief of "they never going to buy one" is based on.. nothing. Despite the fact multiple threads have people saying "good I don't have to buy an xbox one now". You write all those people off as liars because.. you want to?

I know people that got a ps4 for only Bloodborne. Others only got it for MLB the show. Ones that only got a Wii u for Bayonetta. I personally only got an xbox one for SSO, QB, and Scalebound.

Heck I only got an xbox 360 for Tales of vesperia, and alan wake. The handful of kinect games were just because the bundle I got same with a kinect.

Seeing as how scalebound is the first JRPG like game that is "unique" to the xbox one - I can easily see why people would be excited for just that one game.

Bolded: Thanks, english isn't my birth language but I'm glad people correct me.

I should've wrote IMO but I get your point. I got the X1 because of Titanfall but even then that's not the only reason I bought it. Same like there are a lot of games that interest me on PS4 but one specific game will get me to buy one and that is Ratchet and Clank. But there's no way I'm buying the console for one game and not playing anything else, ofc I'll wait for more games that interest me before buying it.

ps4/win10 seems like the best combo for gaming now if you are going to own two platforms.

Yes and no.  If you like to game on your PC then yes, if you are like myself, who do not like to game on my PC then no.  My PC is used for work and I have no intention of upgrading it to the latest graphics card, memory, CPU or any of the combinations.  My PC is not hooked up to my Tv in any way shape or form and since I use it for work and not play, I see no reason to hook it up to my TV.

If anything, I can see MS bringing out something like steam TV.  A device you hook up to your PC that allow you to stream your PC games to your TV.  I can definitely see MS going down this route which would allow them to deliver XBL, publishing their games on PC and still keep you within their ecosystem all the while making sure you purchase games from the Xbox store and upgrade to windows 10 or whatever their next next OS.  Also if this device is small enough, you will be able to take it with you on trips that allow you to stream from your PC at home or maybe register yoru game to Azure on the cloud and still play your collection on the go.  This ties into how MS was going to do the X1 in the beginning but now they can still execute the play with a 2nd device.

I'm not really sure why this matters... People still bought an Xbox One for Titanfall, despite it being cross released at the same time on PC... At the end of the day it's more exposure on the market for the game and opens it up to two platforms. More software sales isn't really a bad thing, considering that's where the money's made.

I'm not really convinced that the majority of people who would buy an Xbox One for X or Y game would suddenly reconsider because it's on PC too, unless of course they had a proper gaming rig to run the game on, which I would find unlikely for the majority out there.. If not, it's far more likely that they would still buy the Xbox One for the game(s), as opposed to the second option of making a more costly investment in a gaming PC.
