This getting annoying lol does ioi need more money?

i had this rant a couple years ago now i think.

The audio ads were so fucking annoying at work. worst part was sometimes there we well blended in the site you couldn't find the volume for them lol.

Conclusion - I've been using the internet for 20 year or so, this site FORCED me to get adblocker lol. Before that I was happy to watch ads.

Agreed. It's the only site that i go to, that made me have to get it, since there are just so many annoying ads. Most sites are good at having ads, without them annoying the crap out of you. VGChartz, is not.

I use safari as I don't own a laptop or PC and the ads on this make the site impossible to look at m. The ads pop up and take the whole screen up and there's no cross off, the simply have to click the ad which it then shuts the page down and opens up the App Store, it's then a case of repeat all this again.
Luckily today I havnt had a pop up.

The worst ads are the mobile redirects to the App Store.

I use a Stylish template that makes it so I don't see ads, signatures, avatars, badges, etc... so much easier to read.

It does, but if the site is unusable without it then the site is being hurt far worse by the ads.

It does, but it hurts my soul more to close banner after banner just to read someone's comment.
