Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I'm going to be VERY displeased if Nintendo announces another Zelda that's not Zelda U

I dont' think I'll be even interested in another Zelda game that's not going to be the highely (less) anticaped Zelda U....

Hyrule Warriors was cool, I didnt care about the 3DS version at all.

Triforce Heroes beta was fun but didn't get the actual game.

A Link Between Worlds was great, although I didnt get that much into it, I didn't finish the game.

All these remakes were gorgeous! I played all 3 remakes so far, Ocarina of Time 3D, Wind Waker HD, and most recently Majora's Mask 3D.  All had tons of fun with them. But out of all these Zelda games I been patienly waiting for THE BIG Zelda game what everyone is waiting for.

It's like going to a resteraunt and they give you appetizers untill you wait for your food. If you have too much appetizers...you wont be hungry enough for your main meal. And if  they give you ANOTHER appetizer you're not gonna want it. Same thing is happening to me with Zelda U as of right now. Twilight Princess HD could be the final appetizer for me. When Zelda U comes out, I probably wont buy it until next year.

Yes, I understand the "a non delayed game is bad forever blah blah" but you need to understand.... that delays are a bad image to your company/game.  Like what if Zelda NX is announced in 2019 no one will probably get excited for that. People may say "oh its announced? Eh I dont care right now, I'll get excited in 2 years after they announce the delay for next year". I'm not criticizing just Zelda or Nintendo. Uncharted 4 got delayed and I criticize that too. People will expect another delay and wont hype for the game.

If they anounce a new small Zelda game for 3DS or Wii U at this year's E3, I'll NOT care for it becasue I'll be too hyped for the new Zelda U trailer/gameplay/details. That's if they announce stuff like that for Zelda U. I'm going to be VERY dissapointed if they dont. Nintedo WILL have another crappy E3 just like last year's if they dont release any new Zelda U stuff.... Unless Metroid HD for Wii U or NX is announced... which I doubt.

I just hope there's no more Zelda titles BUT ZELDA U after when Twilight Priness HD is released.

i agree. i want zelda U more than any other game.

Don't worry they won't

Zelda U is not the first hyped Nintendo game to get a big delay, but I digress.

Even if they announce another spin-off, which I highly doubt it, since we had 2 alread in the span of 5 months, Zelda U is going to be release this year.I mean, they had more than enough time to develop it.I imagine the game is basically done by now, they are mostly just polishing the game, as in tighter gameplay, better puzzles, etc.So dont worry

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I won't mind if they announce another Zelda spin-off for the next year as long as they release Zelda U this year

You know that you don't have to buy so many appetizers, right? So why are you complaining? It'll be your if you're too full for the main meal by the time it arrives.

bet: lost

Yeah, I think they should focus all their efforts into finishing Zelda U. Not only for the sake of the game being released at last, but to make the best game possible.

They need to have Zelda U finished as soon as possible, and any other Zelda on the works (which are either none or a 3rd party spinoff like Hyrule Warriors) will go to the NX instead, and released after U. Nintendo has dried all the money from Zelda fans this gen, give them time to recover.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

lol perfect analogy right there.

Why? Don't you want a Legend of Zelda: Amiibo Festival board party game? :D
I Hope E3 won't disappoint this year.
